Central bus station - bus station in Minsk. It is located in the central part of the city on the Station Square next to the railway station.
The station was opened in 1962. In August 2007, the station was closed for reconstruction, in November the old two-story building was dismantled, and the construction of a new station complex began in its place. Reconstruction completed in 2011.
The complex consists of 5 levels: technical rooms and storage lockers were located in the underground, part of the first floor was occupied by the actual premises of the station - the waiting room, international ticket offices, other premises for passengers and bus station employees, the rest of the first, and the top three floors were occupied by the Galileo shopping complex ”, which includes, in addition to trade facilities, five beer bars, a cafe, two bars and a restaurant, a Silver Screen cinema.
A significant part of the station complex was occupied by a five-level parking lot for 500 cars, the introduction of which can solve the problem of lack of parking spaces on the Railway Station Square.
Every day, 33 flights on suburban routes, 114 flights on intercity routes and 20 flights on international routes are operated from the Centralny bus station.

By order of the former Main Directorate of Road Transport under the Council of Ministers of the BSSR dated July 5, 1962 No. 125, the MINSK BUS STATION was established from December 01, 1962 to improve public passenger transportation services.
The branch "Minsk bus station" of the state enterprise "Minsktrans" is the only bus passenger terminal equipped to serve passengers in the city of Minsk, and the largest in the Republic of Belarus.
Until July 1, 2016, the branch "Minsk Bus Station" was a complex of passenger terminals, consisting of:

In the initial period of its activity, the branch "Minsk Bus Station" consisted of one building - the bus station "Central", which was opened by decision of the government of the BSSR in December 1962.
20 years after the opening of the bus station "Central", in connection with the constant growth of the needs of the population of the country in passenger transportation, the bus station "Vostochny" was built and put into operation in 1983. In 1999, the Moskovsky bus station was opened, the construction of which has been carried out since 1989.
In August 2007, the Central bus station was closed for reconstruction, in November the old two-story building was dismantled, and the construction of a new station complex began in its place. September 9, 2011 the bus station "Central" resumed its work after reconstruction. In the ticket office of the Central bus station, an information and reference terminal and a ticket sales terminal are installed and operate. There is a cafeteria, a currency exchange office, a kiosk "Belsoyuzpechat", an ATM and an information kiosk of the ASB "Belarusbank" in the waiting room, through which you can buy bus tickets, in the waiting room of the bus station, information about the schedule of routes is presented on liquid crystal screens (video wall), in the hall waiting area and in the ticket office there are boards informing passengers about the nearest bus departures and the availability of tickets.
