Once both pieces are in place, cover them with a layer of Mod Podge or adhesive. This will help make the case more durable. Wrap tape around the leg post and secure it at the base and top with glue or a piece of double-sided tape. Decorate the leg and its shaping with beads, pom-poms and other accessories of your choice.

With the help of Mod Podge or glue solution, you can do something else interesting. Namely, apply a pattern to the dishes and give the glass a haze.

For example, we use glass candle holders of various shapes, but the same technique applies to bottles, glasses and glasses, with the only caveat - the edge that you bring to your lips must remain clean.

When starting this project, stock up on the following materials: Mod Podge or glue mortar (approximately 2:1 ratio of school glue and water), thin wrapping paper or tissue paper, and, if possible, a shaped hole punch that allows you to easily cut out identical paper figures. The last tool may well replace thin scissors, a stencil and a little of your patience.

First, decide on the colors and figures that you will use. It can be numerous small details or one larger picture. Wherever you end up, cut out the image from the paper of your choice, place it on the glass in the desired location, and apply Mod Podge slightly thinned with water or glue solution on top of it. The paper must be soaked through with this substance, so the thinner it is, the better. However, be careful, wet thin paper is easily torn and too sweeping strokes with a brush can ruin the drawing.

If your drawing consists of small details, such as confetti, you may want the space between them to be matte. In this case, coat it with Mod Podge or adhesive in the same way as paper.

When working with a glass or glass, do not stick the drawings too close to the edge, it should remain clean. To be safe, cover the edges with a wide strip of masking tape.

When all prepared applications are thoroughly glued to the glass, let them dry. If the glue gets on the edges of the vessel or on those parts of the glass where, according to your idea, it should not be, gently wipe it off with a cotton swab dipped in hot water.
