Important: A new patch has been released and the mod installation folder will change, now they need to be installed in the WOT/res_mods/1.6.1/ and WOT/mods/1.6.1/ folders. Most of the mods work, just move them to the 1.6.1 folder, if one of the mods still doesn’t work, wait for it to be adapted on our website.

Mods from Expromt Max have long enjoyed well-deserved popularity among World of Tanks players, because the author has been supporting his creation for several years and releasing operational updates for each game patch.

  • XVM, included in 99% of other builds due to its usefulness and display of statistics for each player in battle. The installer allows you to configure many of its options.
  • A section with settings for effects, where you can select not only different elements of mixing, but also turn off the lens effect, and also remove the darkening at the edges of the screen.
  • Modifications of the combat interface, which include icons, damage logs, panel damage and other useful mods.
  • Services in combat. These are small but very important tweaks, for example, increasing the magnification of the sniper scope, changing the camera operation, locking the handbrake on a tank destroyer, etc.
  • Four mods to improve chat - message filter, click filter, automatic command sending and color messages.
  • Texture changes. New textures for destroyed vehicles, tracks and static objects on the battlefield.
  • Voice acting for events such as enemy detection and pre-battle timers.

A number of mods can be downloaded from the modpack server; these are a variety of “heavy” mods that take up a lot of space, mostly skins and voiceovers.

The collection of mods from EXPROMT MAX player from the EXPROMT TEAM has earned fame for its ability to radically change the appearance and gameplay of Tanks. The modpack has its own circle of loyal fans who use only it from update to update.

The modpack contains a lot of different mods for changing almost all important elements of the game. You can make about a hundred changes to the game client, plus this can be done in several configuration options. But the number of installation options should not scare you, because the modpack is equipped with a convenient installer that will guide you through the installation procedure and help you choose the mods that are right for you.

The assembly includes a well-known to players. It can be installed with different configurations from EXPROMT_MAX, among which there is a special one for company battles. XVM adds “smart” functions to the minimap - points of last detection of enemies, direction of guns, etc. You can also set several hitlog options to choose from.

The modpack modifies and adds functionality to the “sixth sense” ability of tank crew commanders. You can replace the standard icon with a more visible image, extend the icon display time for a better understanding of when your tank will disappear from the light, and a timer that counts down ten seconds from the moment of detection.

The assembly contains two dozen sights, several information options, horizontal aiming angles and information panels of the selected target, which allows you to completely redesign the aiming process to suit your needs. In addition to all of the above, the modpack from EXPROMT MAX contains many other useful mods that increase the efficiency and comfort of the game. We recommend installing the build and evaluating the new features that have opened up.

The mod assembly is packaged in the original installer. To install the modpack, download the assembly file and run it. The installer will guide you through the next steps. Before installation, it is highly advisable to remove previously installed mods and install the assembly on a clean client. You can use the program if you want to save previously installed mods.

IMPORTANT! When installing a modpack, additional software in the form of browsers may be installed.

The modpack for World of Tanks from Expromt-max exists in four versions, which differ in the general style of game changes and are almost identical in capabilities.

  • The Death build is the main version of the build, it features a large amount of information that is displayed in the combat interface and helps you play more effectively.
  • New Death - differs from the previous one in the smaller size of all inscriptions and other interface elements, the absence of indicators of the usefulness of allies in markers above tanks
  • The Elegant modpack is made with a claim to an elegant appearance of the interface. All elements are made in the same style, and the inscriptions are made in italic font
  • Standart is made in a calmer style and does not contain elements that are too contrasting or overly distracting. Like Elegant, the standard assembly from Expromt-max does not contain “non-polycorrect” inscriptions and pictures

Assembly composition

In the installer, mods are divided into several categories based on the type of changes made.

  • is the basis of the modpack from Expromt-max, like most others. In this build, XVM can be installed in EM and Demon2597 configurations, which differ in the appearance of the markers above the tanks. This section of the installation is also responsible for the damage log, smart minimap, replacing the “sixth sense” light bulb and other standard features of the “Deer Messenger”.

  • Chapter " " offers a choice of several dozen to suit every taste. You can install mods for all three aiming modes, or combine sniper, arcade and strategic modes from different sights. In the same section you can disable dimming at the edges of the screen in sniper mode, install a server sight and horizontal aiming angle indicators from Shtys
  • « Interface in battle“offers to install several options for alternative tank icons in the “ears” of teams, damage panels, information panels of the selected target, several options for the score panel of opponents and allies, an indicator of the direction of fire and several more extremely useful mods, for example, “your armor calculator”.
  • "Service in battle"- these are also combat mods, but, unlike the previous section, they require some actions from the player to trigger. These are, for example, the “Cog” mod for quickly repairing a caterpillar with a “space bar”, the tanked damage indicator “Armor”, an indicator of the nearest enemy, Battle Assistant, blocking fire on allies, an expanded combat menu, as well as a zoom mod.
  • "Chat in battle" contains a mod for message history, antispam and a filter from P-MOD, displaying the results of the previous battle and .
  • "Texture Mods"- these are HD minimaps, colored marks of hits and penetrations on armor, white corpses of tanks, carriages and downed tracks. There is also a mod to disable camouflages in battle.

  • "Sound Mods" included in the assembly are limited to a “crit bell” and a sound indicator of the end of recharging. Various voiceovers are collected in the “Download from Server” section.
  • "Hangar Mods" is a selection of very different interface changes. Golden premium icons, “tank hooves” - the amount of experience up to the tank’s elite status, post-battle statistics, auto-activation of the LBZ and much more.

  • "FPS Boost Section" allows you to control the display of graphic effects in the game and increase FPS by disabling unnecessary ones. The functionality is similar to that from the Jove modpack.
  • "Download from server"- section of mods not included in the assembly, but available for automatic download and installation. This includes voiceovers, penetration textures and 17 mods for the hangar interior, switchable by pressing one button in the upper left corner of the screen.

Installation

Please note: on many sites, the first thing you download is a file downloader, several kilobytes in size. When launched, it establishes a connection to some address on the Internet and downloads the modpack installer. At the same time, along with downloading the modpack, you receive a lot of third-party adware, most of which, however, can be removed through the Windows Control Panel. There is nothing like this on our website - the archive at the link contains the modpack itself, without any third-party programs or advertising utilities.

  • Download the desired build option from one of the links below
  • Unpack the archive and run the executable file - this is the modpack installer. It is packaged in an archive in case you are prohibited from downloading executable files from the Internet and to save traffic, since the assemblies are quite large
  • The modpack installer allows you to backup installed mods and clean up the client
  • Select mods to install. At the selection stage, each mod is provided with a text hint and a screenshot or an example of the sound if it is a sound mod

  • Click “Next” and check the boxes for the “Additional tasks” you need
  • Click “Install” and wait until the installation is complete, click “Finish” - the assembly is installed, you can start the game
