About Hisense. About HISENSE Who is hisense

Founded in 1969 as a small radio manufacturing enterprise, Hisense has been growing and developing effectively in many business areas for 45 years. With its new technology and excellent quality, Hisense is one of the leading brands in China.

Hisense has over 20 subsidiaries that develop and manufacture telecommunications, multimedia and home appliances, including domestic and industrial air conditioners, refrigerators and washing machines. If in 1992 the company's turnover was $50 million, in 2012 it grew to $12.8 billion. The company annually produces 12.3 million televisions, 10 million refrigerators, 9.3 million air conditioners, 6.6 million mobile phones.

A precise and well-designed strategy has allowed Hisense to become an independent research enterprise and enter the line of world leaders in technical innovation. The total number of employees is about 75,000 people worldwide. More than 3,800 employees create and implement innovations and technologies from Hisense. The company has 7 research institutes in Changzheng, Qingdao, North America and Europe. It has 13 production branches throughout China and 4 branches abroad: in South Africa, Algeria and Egypt. Hisense is the first company in China to market an inverter air conditioner, and to this day, the leading Chinese manufacturer of inverter air conditioners in the global market.

The main technology that was introduced by the company in household air conditioners is the 3D Flow Technology innovation - air intake from three sides (top, left and right). The advantages of this technology are to improve heat transfer, increase productivity and efficient air purification. Thus, the 3D Magnetic split system allows you to achieve ultra-fast cooling and efficient air purification, consuming many times less electricity compared to other analogues.

Along with the innovative 3D flow technology, HD Sensor Control is an equally interesting and useful feature. This technology makes it easy to maintain ultra-precise temperature in the immediate vicinity of the user. This happens thanks to the sensor built into the remote control, which constantly sends information to the air conditioner about the current temperature.

The Hisense 3D Magnetic split system series is also equipped with a 4-stage 4D Filter ion air purification system, which consists of a CARBON carbon filter, a Catechin filter, two air pre-filters and an ionizer. The air purification system is also multiplied by the innovative 3D flow technology. It should be noted separately that Hisense has a full cycle of production, quality control and a huge list of patents. Hisense factories and production bases are located in China, South Africa, Hungary and France. Products are exported to more than 100 countries around the world. Over the years of development, Hisense products have become associated with products of the highest quality and the latest technology - Hisense air conditioners are rightfully considered one of the best in the world.

A precise and well-designed strategy has allowed Hisense to become one of the world's leaders in technical innovation.

The functionality and reliability of any equipment is largely determined by the level of research and development work, the equipment of production, the presence of an effective quality control system - in other words, the development of the production base. That is why HISENSE Corporation pays constant attention to the development and modernization of its factories. At the moment, three specialized factories located in China are engaged in the production of HISENSE air conditioning systems. All of them have a full range of laboratories certified by independent organizations.

The structure of the corporation includes 7 large scientific and technological centers located in China, Europe and the USA, with a total staff of more than 3,800 engineers who create and implement innovations and technologies from Hisense into production. The company has its headquarters in North America, Europe, Australia, Africa, Southeast Asia. Vertical and horizontal automatic distribution of air flow, the possibility of uniform distribution of air throughout the room, or precise redirection to the desired point.

Function I FEEL
The temperature sensor, located directly in the control panel, and the ability to switch the logic of the air conditioner to measure the temperature with this sensor, provide an accurate temperature directly at the person's place of residence.

Also among the advantages of wall-mounted split systems are low noise levels, a filter system for complex air purification, and high energy efficiency.

energy efficiency

The energy efficiency of equipment is becoming more and more important every year. If previously high values of this indicator indicated the quality of equipment and a high technological level, now energy efficiency is becoming an important economic factor when making a purchase decision, as it directly affects the costs of operating air conditioning systems.

At the moment, there are several classifications of energy efficiency of separate type air conditioning systems (split systems). All HISENSE air conditioners offered in Russia meet or exceed the class "A" range of the Russian classification system. Premium DC Inverter HISENSE air conditioning systems offered in Russia are class "A++" of the European classification system.

Hisense is not yet well known in the Russian market, but in fact it is one of the few suppliers of a full range of consumer electronics and home appliances. When I lived in China, Hisense was everywhere - TVs, refrigerators, even mobile phones. They produce a lot, and they decided to gradually come to Russia - to officially roll out household appliances and televisions to us. It was about the long-term strategy of the company that the chairman of Hisense International Ltd, Dr. Lang Ling, told us.

Televisions will become one of the most important directions of movement. A little less than a year ago, comrades bought the Toshiba brand for themselves, which, despite all the ups and downs, is quite appreciated in our vast expanses. Of course, this is how I imagine complaints on the forums “they say that again the Chinese have captured the brand and will exploit it”, however, remember that this approach has not only bad, but also neutral-good examples (remember the same Lenovo and IBM laptops ).

Be that as it may, Hisense is going to enter the market not only under the Toshiba brand, but also under its own. At the same time, their line is already interesting, and they are generally in the top in the Chinese market. What is most beautiful is that recently they have been releasing TVs not with a fancy ecosystem of their own, but on a banal Android TV (although they are also going to play in the ecosystem, well, everything is clear here - the opportunity to earn more money).

And yet, Hisense is now in the process of buying Gorenje - the deal is awaiting approval from the antimonopoly committee. Let me remind you that Gorenje is a Slovenian engineering company, which is famous for quite interesting household appliances with an unusual design. They promise to keep all the interesting design finds, while improving the quality and bringing the price to an interesting level.

In general, the plans look good - the chairman of the company assured us that the technological developments of the companies will not be lost, and everything will be taken to a new level. In the case of Toshiba, from which in the world of TVs, in fact, only a name remains - I really want to believe (the chairman said 4-5 million TVs a year in a three-year perspective). In the case of Gorenje, it is still too early to speak, the numbers are not called. By the way, I forgot to mention that the company is also going to introduce refrigerators to the Russian market on a larger scale - there are very few of them now, and in China, Hisense is in second place in this sector.

It is also worth mentioning that, in fact, Hisense still has a great variety of all kinds of products that will not reach Russia on any large scale in the near future - this is a B2B segment that includes optical sensors, industrial air conditioning systems and sensors for smart cities . Let's watch the video!

In general, here are some interesting plans from the Chinese industrial giant. Let's hope that soon we will be able to test their products and tell you how good they really are. What technique do you think is the most interesting to touch? TVs? Small or (what the hell is not joking) large household goods (both the Gorenje heritage and your own brand?). Or maybe mobile phones (but they probably won't get to Russia in the near future)?

The thesis that the current decade is becoming the era of Chinese companies receives another confirmation. Another strong player from China is entering the Ukrainian market, which is no longer ashamed of its origin - Hisense (pronounced "heiss"). e ns" with stress on the second syllable). The company produces televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, smartphones. It has technology and is already, in fact, a global company. In July, the launch in Ukraine will begin with TV sales. And Hisense's intentions exactly repeat the strategy of Korean companies two decades ago - "the same as Japanese manufacturers, but 10-20% cheaper."

Who is Hisense

Today HiSense is a $3.5 billion company founded in 1969 with 70,000 employees worldwide. Its twelve R&D centers are located around the world - China (5), USA (3), Germany, Israel, Japan and Canada. Hisense annually spends 5% of its turnover ($17.5 million) on development. Hisense has its own production of chips, LCD panels, and in China it is strong in the production of laser projection TVs with large diagonals.

What will be sold in Ukraine

The TV range of 2017, which will be presented on the shelves of Ukrainian stores, includes 6 lines with 8 diagonals - a total of 26 TV models will be available. All TVs, except for the budget M2160 line, will have a SmartTV package on their own platform called Vidaa U. At the start, they promise 354 available applications in their store. Of the supported video services, there are already Netflix (a separate button on the remote control) and Divan.TV. Other video services popular in Ukraine (Megogo, oll.tv) are promised to be connected in the near future.

What Hisense TVs Can Do

Starting with the N2170 line, Hisense TVs have Internet access and a SmartTV package. All older lines, starting with the N3000, already have 4K matrices and HDR support. The company is pinning its hopes on the M5010 line, which has a very good price-performance ratio, as well as the N6800 line, which introduces technological features - anti-aliasing, local dimming, extended color gamut, quad-core processors and image upscaling to 4K resolution. Finally, the flagship N9700 line will feature one 75-inch model with a quantum dot panel.

Who will sell Hisense

The interests of the company are represented in Ukraine by Smart Line LLC, which is the general distributor. On the Hisense Ukrainian website, Comfy, Allo and Rozetka stores are listed as dealers. At the same time, at the time of writing this text, the younger line of TVs of the N2170 series was already on display in Rozetka (there are more models in Comfy). There are no TVs on sale yet, but you can look at the recommended retail prices. They range from 6,500 hryvnias for a 32-inch model of the N2170 line to 130,000 hryvnias for a 75-inch quantum dot TV 75N9700UWG (which, admittedly, is quite inexpensive for a TV of this class).

What do Hisense TVs look like?

One should not expect any special miracles in design, but in general, all the TVs shown at the presentation look quite decent and do not give the impression that they are saving on something. The picture is also impressive (even with the correction for the presentation video in 4K, and even the demo settings created specifically to whet the appetite of buyers on the trading floor). It goes without saying that the older the model, the more interesting the image looks (deeper black, brighter colors and colors).

Can you trust the Hisense brand?

The situation is the same as in the case of other Chinese giants - Huawei and Lenovo - this company has already passed all the barriers of "parochiality" and is a serious player in the global market. In its native Chinese market (don't forget about a billion people - this is a huge market in itself) Hisense has been holding the first place in TV sales for 14 years. In our market, which is very sensitive to the price factor, the company has a serious chance to get its share of the pie. Following companies such as Huawei, Lenovo, Meizu and Xiaomi. Moreover, we do not yet have serious Chinese players on the TV market.
