  • Supply of a power complex with a capacity of 1 MW to the Vankor field
  • Products: Diesel generator - ADV-500 Volvo Penta (500 kW)
  • Period: — 2016

A 1 MW power complex based on Volvo Penta engines has been installed at Russia's largest oil field, Vankorskoye.

The stations are equipped with automatic fuel and oil refueling systems. They will allow the equipment to remain in service for 150 consecutive hours.

Both PSM diesel generators are installed in Sever-M containers. For the safety of people, sensors of the maximum permissible concentration of CO are installed in the containers. They constantly examine the composition of the air and will not allow personnel to enter the container if the atmosphere inside is not up to standard. And this often happens when the engine has run for many hours without stopping. As soon as the level of carbon monoxide in the container rises to 100 mg/m 3 , the system will give a command to stop the engine, lock the doors and begin to remove fuel vapors.

  • 22 power plants for Rosneft
  • Products: Diesel generator - AD-40 MMZ (40 kW)
  • Period: — 2015

2 diesel power plants of 40 kW reserve the rotational camps of the Vankor field.

DGUs are installed in mini-modules with a sophisticated heating system. It constantly maintains the microclimate and keeps all units of the unit in “combat readiness”, which will allow you to instantly start the stations even at extremely low temperatures - 60 ° C below zero.

The warm floor heats the fuel tank, the heating of the filter prevents the fuel system from cooling down, the heating of the electrical cabinet is responsible for the operation of the automation, the general airflow sends warm air flows throughout the interior, the heating of the inlet and outlet valves ensures that the heated air does not leave the module, but the cold air did not get inside, the heating of the coolant makes the engine ready to start at any time. Typically, such systems are mounted in large containers - only their operation requires a lot of energy. The PSM deliberately used a small volume module, and all the tricky equipment was installed compactly. This made it possible to reduce energy and heat losses to a minimum.

  • PSG-6000 installation at the Tagulskoye field

  • OAO Vankorneft (OOO RN-Vankor)

A task

  • Installation of PSG-6000 in a short time.

Project Features:

  • manufacturing, delivery and installation of a field fuel depot for 6,000 m 3 within 30 days;
  • installation of a site for the mass delivery of fuel to motor vehicles.

Results:

  • PSG-6000 was delivered, installed, operation started.

Research and Production Firm "Polytechnica" made the first shipment of a mobile field fuel depot (PSG) to the Tagulskoye field. 6 SF6 current transformers TOGF-110 at Vankor GTPP

During the construction of the Vankor Gas Turbine Power Plant (GTPP), 6 gas-insulated current transformers TOGF-110.III - 0.2S/0.2/10P/10P/10R-300-600-1200/1 UHL1 manufactured by ZETO CJSC were installed.

The installation of equipment was carried out taking into account difficult climatic conditions (GTPP is located in the permafrost zone). The new equipment will ensure uninterrupted operation throughout the entire period of operation, which is extremely important, since the Vankor GTPP must autonomously supply electricity to the existing and under construction facilities of the promising Vankor oil and gas field, owned by the largest oil producing company in Russia - OAO NK-Rosneft.

The Vankor gas turbine plant was designed specifically for the Vankor field using new technologies, which made it possible to operate it in extremely low temperatures and solved the problem of associated gas used as fuel.

Now the construction of the GTPP is clearly "tied" to the development of the field, and goes in parallel with it.

Vankor oil and gas field ( VANKOR) is the largest oil and gas field discovered and put into operation over the past 25 years in Russia. The Vankor field is located in the north of the Turukhansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 142 km from. The area of the deposit is 416.5 sq. km. Initial recoverable reserves as of January 1, 2014 amount to 500 million tons of oil and condensate, 182 billion cubic meters of gas according to Rosneft.

To develop the deposit, a shift camp with the same name was created. Since the start of the project, Rosneft has invested about $5 billion in it.

Vankor is a shift workers' settlement, which was built specifically for the development of the Vankor field by Vankorneft, a subsidiary of Rosneft. The delivery of shift workers and other personnel to the village of Vankor is carried out in two ways: by helicopters and by vehicles along the winter road. Vankor can be reached by helicopter from Igarka, Korotchaev (Novy Urengoy) and Tarko-Sale. Transportation on the winter road is carried out exclusively in the cold season, approximately from December to May. In the village there is a mobile MTS and Beeline, which allows shift workers to always stay in touch with family and friends.

There is also a temporary camp "Camp-1220" with an infrastructure and a network of roads - the main one - from the camp and the helipad to the UPSU-Yu (Installation of preliminary water discharge-South) has a concrete coating. All other roads in the area of the village are unpaved or winter. An oil storage facility has been built here and industrial drilling has begun. A main oil pipeline has also been built.

Work in the VankorNeft company on a rotational basis. List of recent Vankorneft vacancies for today: drivers, drillers, pomburs, laborers, welders, electricians, surveyors, mechanics, locksmiths, cooks are required (the full list of vacancies is below). Contacts of the company for employment on the official website. How to get a job, search by ads. The Vankor oil and gas field is located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and is one of the largest in Russia. Together with adjacent oil and gas fields, it forms the Vankor group of fields. It's no secret that the field is being developed by a subsidiary of Rosneft Oil Company PJSC - Vankorneft CJSC. The Vankor field is a very promising mineral deposit from which long-term oil and gas production is planned in Western Siberia.

Work at Vankor (Vankor field)

The company entrusted the design and development of the Vankor field to highly professional specialists in drilling and construction in the conditions of the North of Russia and the world, they also developed the main oil pipelines. The result of this difficult activity was that the field uses the latest technologies for drilling and oil and gas production, as well as a modern system for the utilization of associated gas, in which there is no well-known "gas flare". In the new method, part of the associated gas is pumped back into the reservoir to maintain reservoir pressure during oil production, and a part is used for own needs, including for the operation of a unique powerful autonomous gas turbine power plant, which provides a stable energy and heat supply to all production facilities, processing, preparation of produced oil and residential complexes.
The Vankor field is usually called one of the most promising oil and gas fields in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. At the peak of production, it is possible to reach the figure of 40 million tons of oil per year. This prospect is estimated to last for about 35 years. To date, the Vankor field is considered one of the largest, since 400 working wells for the extraction of "black gold" are operated at full capacity, more than 300 of them are horizontal. Work at the Vankor field is carried out around the clock. The vast majority of employees work on a rotational basis.

Rotational work at the field is very hard work, more psychologically, because a shift worker is separated from his family for a long time. And everyone knows that working conditions beyond the Arctic Circle, where there is permafrost, are not at all easy. Temperature fluctuations of -60 in winter and +30 in summer do not go unnoticed for shift workers, not everyone can withstand such conditions. Those who want to have a decent salary seek to get a job here.

Therefore, an important stage in the development of the field is the arrangement of a rotational camp, the most comfortable conditions for living. Like many similar camps, it is connected to the mainland only by air. Helicopters take off from Igarka, Tarko-Sale or Novy Urengoy-Korotchaev. Oil workers live in hostels. They, given the harsh natural conditions, are as close as possible to comfortable conditions for living and recreation. There are highways in the village. Some of them are concrete-coated, but most of them are winter roads and unpaved ones.

The Vankor field, together with the Suzun field, consists of more than two dozen license blocks, the continuous number of which is regularly increasing. It can be concluded that the number of jobs does not stop, but also increases. The Vankorneft company regularly needs personnel. The point here is not the turnover of employees, because the work on a rotational basis is difficult to withstand. The reason is that the production of oil products is growing all the time, new deposits are being discovered. Drivers of all categories and drilling specialists (drillers, pomburs), engineering and technical personnel, geologists, managers, and logistics specialists are constantly in demand on a rotational basis.
Women's specialties also remain no less in demand: cooks, attendants, doctors and nurses with a certificate for a pre-trip medical examination.

The Vankor field is an industrial facility where oil and gas are produced. Located in the middle of the tundra in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, it is part of the Vankor block of oil and gas production. The Vankor field camp is located on the development site. The nearest settlement to the deposit, 140 km away, is the port city of Igarka on the banks of the Yenisei.

How to get to the deposit

The Vankor field is located beyond the Arctic Circle. There are no paved roads. Get to Vankor in this way:

  • By bus, train or plane to Krasnoyarsk;
  • From Krasnoyarsk by plane to Igarka. Distance 1330 km, travel time 3 hours, one-way ticket price 12000 RUR;
  • From Igarka to Vankor, it is possible to travel by heavy car along the winter road, by helicopter or small aircraft. Transportation of passengers is carried out by the oil company.

It is impossible to enter the field without a special pass from the Vankorneft security service. Guarded checkpoints have been built at the entrances, video surveillance is being carried out throughout the mining area. Photography and video filming is prohibited.

Weather and climate in the region

The area where the Vankor field is located is characterized by a subarctic climate. There are strong cold winds, relatively dry - no more than 300 mm of precipitation falls per year.

The duration of winter is 9 months at average temperatures of -30 degrees and below. In summer, in June-July, the air warms up to +10, but negative values from 0 to -5 are possible.

During the winter, the polar night dominates. Only in the summer months the sun rises above the horizon and slowly floats along it - the polar day comes.

The severity of the climate determines the landscape of the forest-tundra. The soils are permafrost covered with mosses, lichens and occasional dwarf trees. The area is heavily swamped.

History of the village

The Vankor field was discovered in 1988 by the forces of Eniseyneftegazgeologia. The first attempt to drill an exploration well ended in an explosion. Gas rushed upstairs mixed with drilling mud, sand and water. In conditions of severe frost, the discharge froze, and an ice crater 30 m wide and 20 m high was formed at the drilling site. The eruption lasted about a month until the hole closed up on its own.

The drilling of the second well was crowned with an explosion of redoubled force - through underground voids, the gas from both wells was combined.

An interesting fact: The gas-ice fountain on Vankor operated for 1.5 years until they found a way to eliminate the accident.

After numerous exploration, geological, and installation works, Rosneft launched the Vankorskoye field into commercial operation in the second half of 2009 with the participation of Vladimir Putin. A local oil pipeline Vankor-Purpe 500 km long was laid from the development, connecting to the main AK Transneft. The estimated total oil production at Vankor is 500 million tons.

With the increase in the capacities of the Vankor oil and gas production, the shift camp also developed, the number of workers increased to 3,000 people in the summer.

Materials, structural elements, various equipment for buildings were delivered mainly by cargo aircraft, partly by heavy vehicles along the winter road.

Currently, the construction of various facilities continues. New technological units, residential and administrative buildings are being erected, wells are being drilled, and oil pipelines are being laid.

Infrastructure

On the territory of the settlement of the Vankor field, three residential complexes were built, designed for the simultaneous stay of 2,500 people:

  • Hotel base of superior comfort, with sports and gyms, mini cinema, library, cafeteria. Double rooms;
  • Working hostel with rooms for 4 people. There is heating, hot water supply, laundry;
  • Insulated car-houses, designed for 4-8 people each. Equipped with heaters, tiles, imported water, outdoor amenities.

Meals for the field workers are organized in their own canteen. In addition, there are medical and dental offices, an emergency helicopter is on duty. There is satellite TV, Internet and mobile communications at the tariffs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Food, essentials, medicines are regularly delivered from Igarka by air.

Interesting fact: Alcohol is strictly prohibited on Vankor. In cases of violations, the employee is fined a large amount, followed by dismissal.

Village population

The village has 30 years of history, but there are no indigenous people, families with children on Vankor. The population consists of workers on a rotational basis, business travelers, contractors, managerial and maintenance personnel.

Men from all over Russia and neighboring countries come to work on a watch at the Vankor field. The number of women is no more than 10-15% of the total number of workers. The most demanded professions:

  • Exploration specialists;
  • Oilfield chemistry specialists;
  • Drilling rig operators;
  • Oil and gas production operators;
  • Bulldozer drivers, drivers of categories B, C;
  • Accountants, economists;
  • Cooks, maids;
  • Handymen.

Tourist season

When planning a trip beyond the Arctic Circle of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, severe climatic conditions are taken into account. From May to December the roads are impassable for any type of vehicle. At the same time, the abundance of reservoirs and swamps create favorable conditions for the development of mosquitoes and other midges. It is worth being prepared for severe frosts and rarefied air when traveling during the winter months. The absolute temperature record is -63 degrees.

Transport

The means of communication between the Vankor field and the mainland are helicopters (Mi-8, Mi-26) and trucks.

The fleet of Vankor is represented by three-axle all-terrain vehicles of the brands Ural, Kamaz, Zil, as well as large-sized equipment Kirovets, Belaz. There are all-wheel drive SUVs of various modifications and tracked vehicles. There are simply no cars due to their uselessness in the conditions of the Far North.

Vankor's only concrete road runs from the residential complex to the airfield. The rest of the transport routes are unpaved, some of them are available only in winter.

An interesting fact: There are no garages for vehicles on the territory of the field. In winter, engines are not turned off around the clock, so as not to repair a stopped engine right in the cold.

Attractions

The closest interesting places for a tourist trip to Vankor are in the city of Igarka and its environs. The most famous include:

  • The only museum of permafrost in the world. Halls and corridors are cut to a depth of 14 m, where you can see the structure of frozen soils and their layers. The temperature is constantly maintained at -5 degrees to maintain transitions in a natural state. Also, several expositions are presented to the guests' attention: the remains of relict vegetation, the construction of the Salekhard-Igarka railway, the years of repressions, the emergence of polar aviation, and many others. The museum is a natural monument of regional importance. The cost of the entrance ticket is from 170 RUR;
  • Ruins of the Transpolar Highway. The large-scale construction of the Great Northern Route began after the war in the 40s of the XX century with the help of the prisoners of the Gulag. The plan was to build a 1400 km long railway connecting the Yenisei Delta and the European part of Russia. With the death of Stalin in 1953, the construction was frozen unfinished. Along the remnants of the canvas, fragments of trains, residential buildings, and camps have been preserved.

When planning an expedition to the Far North in the area of the Vankor field, it is important to take into account the following points:

  • Seasonality of roads. Communication between settlements is mainly by air. In the city of Igarka there is no public transport and even a taxi. At the same time, local residents will be happy to offer tourists a trip over short distances on reindeer sleds;
  • The cost of goods and products is significantly higher than in the central regions of Russia due to the high cost of their delivery to the northern regions;
  • Small number of tourist organizations or their complete absence. You will need to look for a guide, conductor, guide on your own among the local population;
  • Health status. For certain categories of people, staying in a subarctic climate is contraindicated.

The Vankor field is closed to tourists. However, the nearby area will offer guests a lot of new impressions from visiting the sights, and the banks of the Yenisei will provide an opportunity for a good catch for connoisseurs of fishing.

", founded in 2004. for the development of the Vankor oil and gas condensate field.

About company Vankorneft Krasnoyarsk

ZAO Vankorneft, a subsidiary of OAO NK Rosneft, was founded in 2004. for the development of the Vankor oil and gas condensate field - the largest of the fields discovered and put into operation in Russia over the past twenty-five years. The field is located in the north of Eastern Siberia in the Turukhansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 142 km from the city of Igarka. Its area is 416.5 sq. km. The initial recoverable reserves of the Vankor field as of January 1, 2014 amount to 500 million tons of oil and condensate, 182 billion cubic meters of gas (natural + dissolved).

In 2013 Vankor produced 21.4 million tons of oil and gas condensate, which is 17% higher than last year. Today, daily production (as of 01/01/2014) is 9% higher compared to the same period in 2013. - more than 60 thousand tons. Thanks to the applied technological solutions, the oil recovery factor at Vankor is one of the highest in Russia. The field is being drilled by injection directional and production wells with a horizontal ending, which ensures high flow rates. The oil extraction process is fully automated.

On December 13, 2013, the seventy millionth ton of oil was extracted from the bowels of Vankor since the start of commercial operation (August 2009).

The best domestic design institutes took part in the preparation and launch of the field; equipment was supplied by 150 companies, including 65 manufacturing plants. About 90% of the equipment supplied to Vankor and the services provided are Russian-made. Vankorneft is a customer for more than 70 enterprises in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. They, in turn, provide jobs for enterprises and organizations in related industries: construction, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, the service sector, and transportation. The creation of three to four jobs in the service industries for one job in the oil industry - this is the multiplier effect of the Vankor project.

Today, the number of Vankorneft employees is more than 3,000 people, the average age of employees is 35 years.
