On May 22, 2017, in the assembly hall of the gymnasium No. 17 of the Voroshilovsky district of Volgograd, the ceremony of awarding the laureates of the educational campaign "Let's do it together" was held as part of the federal project "Ecology of Russia". 2017 is the Year of Ecology in Russia, this is the year in which the issues of environmental education are especially relevant. The action covered all regions of the country. At the forum in Volgograd, our school was awarded in the Best Organization nomination. The laureates of the All-Russian project were warmly welcomed by Soloviev I.A., deputy. Chairman of the Regional Duma on Ecology and Nature Management, Kochergina LL, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Education and Science of the Volgograd Region. School No. 7 was awarded a Laureate Diploma and a set of badges to be presented to students who took an active part in the action.

From April 10 to May 10, 2017, new environmental education lessons were held at the school. The action "All-Russian environmental lesson" Let's do it together "consisted of several competitions designed for students of primary and secondary schools. As part of the lessons, the schoolchildren were explained what garbage and waste are and what the difference is. A series of educational events was organized, during which schoolchildren learned that waste can be recycled, what losses Russia suffers due to unresolved problems associated with waste disposal.

At school, 420 students took part in the All-Russian environmental lesson “Let's do it together”. The action helped raise the awareness of schoolchildren in waste management, increase the social culture and activity of children, and identify eco-leaders. Interestingly, the school is holding an action to collect and further dispose of batteries, which is the contribution of children to solving environmental problems. Our 8th graders took part in the "Clean Coast" campaign. And the environmental lessons, which were conducted by the students themselves, were not just cognitive in nature, they were rather practical in nature, there were no indifferent people in these classes. The team of eco-leaders consisted of students in grades 9 and 10. 15 high school students conducted 20 eco-lessons for schoolchildren in grades 5-8. Based on the results of their work, each eco-leader posted a presentation on the website of the “Let's do it together” action, in which a photo report was presented. After the eco-lessons, students of each class produced their own eco-poster on the theme “Freedom from Waste”, the best of which were posted on the website of the action.

By participating in environmental competitions, schoolchildren brought points not only to their school, but also to the regional headquarters. The Volgograd region took the 4th place in this competition of regions. And we are glad that a part of our work gave such good results.

And the action is long-term. Summer is coming. A specialized environmental camp is opening in our school, where work on the study of environmental issues will continue, new projects will be created and implemented under the guidance of teachers. There will be eco-quizzes and competitions, which will allow identifying new eco-leaders and potential environmental activists.

Students of grades 1 A, 2 B and 2 C planted seeds of fruit and garden plants right in their classrooms. Let's hope that tender sprouts of future tomatoes, parsley, cilantro and dill will grow in these small pots soon.

On April 10, 2017, a very interesting environmental lesson "Freedom from waste" was held in UK No. 5 in grades 5 and 6. The children listened with interest, joined the discussion, learned a lot of new things, and also thought about ecology and health.

Ecological action "Paper Olympus"

On this sunny April day, April 20, in the 1st educational building of our educational complex, an environmental campaign was held to collect waste paper "Paper Olympus". Students, teachers and staff of the school approached this event actively and began to prepare for the action much in advance. Together, we managed to collect almost 2 times more waste paper than during the autumn collection! This is a big step and a good experience, as well as a great incentive to continue to increase the amount of paper handed over in the next semesters.

100 kilograms of waste paper saves 1 tree. Imagine how many natural resources we can save if everyone actively participates in environmental campaigns!

On April 27, 2017, children, teachers and parents of the preparatory groups of Criminal Code No. 7 summed up the results of participation in events within the framework of the Year of Ecology and Specially Protected Natural Areas in Russia.

Large-scale action of 2017 "All-Russian environmental lesson "Let's do it together!" It is aimed at the formation of an active life position of the children. The winners of the contest of eco-leaders of the capital and other regions will go to Artek with their proposals and projects. The meeting of Moscow schoolchildren with the curators of the action was devoted to this topic.

Gennady ONISCHENKO, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation:
– A workshop dedicated to what the Moscow delegation is bringing to the All-Russian gathering of the most active and youngest, most advanced eco-leaders – those who protect the great heritage that we learned from our predecessors. Ideas for 2018 under the Let's Do It Together! project are already being formed.

A collective good deed is the name of this initiative. The scale of the action "Let's do it together!" exceeded all expectations - in Russia as a whole, more than 26 thousand people from 18 thousand schools took part in it. The project turned out to be a kind of model, an example to follow, which I want to follow.

- The most important thing is that we managed to bring everyone together - the deputies of the Moscow City Duma, the department of education, the methodological center and all the schools of our city in one wonderful idea - that environmental issues should be addressed first of all together, and secondly, by ourselves children can do a lot to ensure that their city and Russia are in the right ecological state.

"Let's do it together!" instantly became a multi-format project, gathering like-minded people. Children from Moscow schools were happy to tell us about the projects they are going to present in Artek

- I completed the project “development of a camp shift”, which was called “Multinational Russia”. This session is for children of different ages from 6 to 17 years old. I have created both health and cultural and educational activities, therefore, the change will suit children of different ages, and they will like it!

– The main idea of ​​my project is the use of payment receipts to inform the population about environmental actions. The ecology of the planet is our common cause.

Dalia, 10th grade student:
Our project is called National Gardens. It is with national gardens that we want to decorate the courtyard of our school. As you know, the school yard is the hallmark of any school.

Solving environmental issues ourselves, creating comfortable living conditions in the city and, ultimately, trying to change our lives for the better. Action "Let's do it together!" - became a real impulse for Moscow schoolchildren to popularize the environmental movement.
