Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed. Equestrian: Crown Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum. "Passion to the faithful heart, fearless gleam in the eyes!" Scandal in a noble family

January 11, 2016, 04:47

I was looking for this post - I decided to create it myself in general. from the series can not be silent. Well, Christmas trees have accumulated: ozone holes, all things ... again, recently Arab princes were included in some kind of war ... It immediately became clear there that the one who was deprived of this title was called the prince ...

Girls, the affairs of the Arab crown are not inferior in complexity to the intrigues of the Magnificent Age. moreover, I am guided only in the affairs of the emirate of Dubai. and there are not one or two emirates in the UAE.

why it is interesting to me (and to you) - because the sheikhs there are quite patty times. Because there is really a serpentarium - two. and because in Russian this information is not available ANYWHERE at all. even in the fan community of the VKontakte family (for several tens of thousands of readers, by the way), completely false information is posted.

Therefore, I consider myself practically a beacon, amen. let's get started.

Sheikh of Dubai - Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He is many years old and he is a very popular man. He was born already in 1949, which does not prevent him from having a younger son aged 3 years. well done? well done. Dubai recently celebrated 10 years of his reign and everyone wept with happiness. But here, by the way, I have nothing to argue - Mohammed is a great man who made oil work for people. Imagine, it turns out that it was possible to build an oasis of tourism and trade in the desert with petrodollars. We didn’t even know (#mohammed_where_wh_you_were_before)!

Sheikh's eldest son is an unknown Sheikh Marwan, born in 1981. he lives in London and does not look like an Arab at all, because he was born from a German woman. but his children (as it should be with recessive inheritance) are Arabs anywhere. Marwan does not even appear in the line of inheritance, although he is welcomed in the family. Turned out to be a good person)

the second son of the sheikh is Sheikh Rashid, who tragically died in September 2015. He was 33. Incidentally, the emphasis on the first syllable is without options, because in Arabic spelling in this name there is only one vowel) I found a way to unobtrusively show you that I know Arabic))))

The story of Sheikh Rashid is very dark and the truth will never be revealed to us. Officially, until 2011 (!) he was the heir to the throne. Sheikh Rashid was with his father everywhere and believe me - of all the sons, it was Rashid who succeeded best of all. I would say - this is the top of the "breed", the brightest diamond, the most obvious leader. It was such power, such a magnet - you had to see it! But a terrible thing happened - Rashid turned out to be a "difficult passenger". According to the documents that are still on wikileaks, Sheikh Rashid was not only a drug addict, he also accidentally (?!) killed a servant in the palace. That "haram" - that is, a terrible monstrous sin.

For me, this was the character to rule the country, it just had to be hewn. But Sheikh Rashid after this story literally disappears from everywhere. For some time he still occupies minor commercial posts, however, he soon loses this as well. It is not shown anywhere else, so that, God forbid, a diligently worn out old case does not come up. In September, according to the official version, Rashid dies from a heart attack (I believe), according to the sub-version (I'm sure it was admitted by the palace service), he was shot dead in battles for his homeland. The second version is categorically excluded, because Rashid was not allowed anywhere at all, so that he would not shine and remind. I think for him (with his obvious arch-ambitiousness) it was a colossal blow and it is still unknown whether everything turned out so tragically precisely because of this.

By the way, for the whole family, the death of Rashid became a terrible tragedy, healthy men, the brothers, shed tears without being embarrassed by anything. Hamdan, I was generally afraid of losing consciousness, he was so shaken. Then I remember how the Windsor boys did not shed a tear at Diana's funeral. Not a reproach. I just think that's what different temperaments!

In 2011, Crown Prince Hamdan is introduced to the world. his image is so sterile that I do not believe a single word. he is known to the world with a light hand in the service of the palace under the pseudonym Fazza (faz3) - I will not translate from Arabic what Fazza means, otherwise I will stick together. Fuzza as a person is a poet, a philanthropist, an adorer of children, a defender of animals ... by the way, his poems are the same as the image, it is impossible to read.

Fazza is a sterile, perfect, polished image of Hamdan, and what he really knows only he himself. if he remembers of course.

But if he doesn't remember, it's okay, I remember)))

(hamdan on the right, near - Rashid)

before he became the heir, Fazza was overweight (all Al Maktoums are very inclined to be overweight), an extremely pimply youth who made physiognomies a la Tarkan in the camera. Now they knocked it out of him - they explained that with a romantic look he looks like m .... k, so you need to frown menacingly. Works out.

how the palace erases pictures of Hamdan - it's just a fairy tale) it's almost impossible to catch unphotoshopped frames on the net, they don't eat their bread in vain, however, here are a couple of examples of what Superman-Hamdan looks like in reality)))

Hamdan has a fiancee (cousin, of course - that's the way it is, it's okay), however, there are persistent rumors that the engagement has been canceled and that he allegedly has a girlfriend. Right now, get ready for a flow of sugar in honey.

So, according to the "rumors" kindly spread by the palace service, Hamdan's fiancée is a refugee from hot spots, whom he met when he worked as a volunteer at the distribution of meals for the homeless. This is such a fucking profanity that I almost burst into tears of happiness when I first read it. Oh, almighty pr service of the palace - what other heights will you reach? I don’t know who this is designed for - for 10th graders? I can only say that there is not even a word like "girl" in Arabic. Dating is haram. Like - get married. Don't like it - move on. Here we are all humbly silent about the famous parties with girls in the palace. shut up I say! And we admire the glossy Hamdan with the approved skin tone "sexy number 6".

The next son of the Sheikh (all from the same wife Hind - she, the poor one, gave him as many as 12 offspring) is Sheikh Maktum. You can’t say that, but in general he is only 32. He will be the vice-ruler of Dubai and seems to me the only sane member of the family. He is very nice to me, a significant role in this is played by his English friend, who occasionally posts very touching pictures with Maktoum, where he cuts a birthday cake or goes skiing with friends. not a superman look, not a poseur look. even strange - our man is right behind enemy lines.

Despite his very prominent role in Dubai (and by the way, my father mostly goes everywhere with Maktoum, not Hamdan), Maktoum is very closed and uncommunicative with the press. finding a video with him is unrealistic even if you search in Arabic.

Sheikh Ahmed (the emphasis is also on the first syllable, too, because there are no more vowels) is the next son. local clown and my favorite. I look at him every time and I can’t believe that one day they will trust him with something.

The PR service of the palace carefully polishes his image and even came up with a nickname for him - Azzam. Something like "resolute" in Arabic. I'm laughing out loud now, because it seems to me that Akhmed is the most natural stoner and hedonist. Like all his brothers, he was initially a fucking handsome guy (al-Maktoums have good genes), however, he got fat. I wonder how hard it takes Hamdan to keep in shape?

my favorite))

Ahmed performs the nominal functions of a chairman somewhere, a presenter somewhere ... he does it with an invariably bored physiognomy and the last thing that turned him on was dancing Arab actresses at some charity performance. For my studies, I constantly watch the news in their dialect and always eagerly wait for when Ahmed will touch the Christmas trees at least something? Touched. I once again made sure that he is completely crazy and probably a pervert))) but in a series of sterile brothers, he is extremely nice to me.

The palace carefully destroys all non-photoshopped pictures on the network, so rejoice while you can. Ahmed in his "youth" loved to bring his eyes. It's disco, baby

There is also Sheikh Said, born in 1988, however, this is a very strange character, fortunately, he practically does not flicker anywhere, because he has such a look ... I would hide such a boy (which is what the palace does). I don't know anything about him. Either guilty, or not ambitious.

And finally, two more sons - from a wife from Morocco, although Russian-language sources mistakenly attribute the boys to different ladies. We probably won’t take our daughters, otherwise we won’t leave here (although the sheikh’s daughters are also uuuh!).

So, a wife from Morocco gave Sheikh Mohammed two rather prominent sons.

The first is Sheikh Majid. Don't let his appearance fool you, Prince William has thick hair compared to him. Just trust me.

Majid is 28 years old, and he had everything in Swiss chocolate, until he decided to marry a girl, Hesse, from, by the way, far from the simplest family. This marriage was not approved by the Al Maktoums to such an extent that a - they did not appear, b - after the wedding, Majid became a figurehead and moved to the second row at events, FOR all the other brothers and even for his own younger brother. Didn't save the guy

Majid is the only one of all the Sheikh's sons who is married and already has two children. he named his daughter Dubai (?!) which finished off the palace along the way, because no one congratulated him on the birth of children in his social accounts. And they are all more than active online.

Sheikh Mansour - who was recently discussed here on the main page when he led the extinguishing of the hotel Address. The final work of Mohammed. Mansoor is 26 years old, and since he is born from the same mother as Majid, he is also rapidly going bald.

photoproof. in this photo, Mansur participates in a charity match with the disabled and flirtatiously combs the rest of his hair forward. we must tell him that it is also fashionable with us.

although the Arabs do not have much hair on their heads. It is, as it were, compensated by the vegetation on the body))) By the way, Mansur has unearthly and mutual love with the body. He is practically Mr. Universe, which somehow compensates for his completely Bedouin appearance. Mansour is the only prince who travels to hot spots, but I assure you - only after they cool down)))

Mansour owns some fabulous fleet of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentleys, and whatever else. There is a report about this on YouTube, however, in Arabic. but the picture is spiks for itself. Sheikh's car number is D8. D - Dubai, 8 - the eighth man in the family (the first is Himself).

Another son - three-year-old Zayed - was born to the sheikh by the well-known princess Haya. the one who fights for the rights of women around the world, while happily being in a polygamous marriage, and who insists on the fight against smoking, and then stealthily smokes at the races. I have no complaints about Princess Haya, I think she did everything right in her life)

Last thing. Who is Sheikh Nasser? The outrageously playboy-looking Sheikh of Bahrain, married to one of Mohammed's daughters. They have three children. I couldn't help but include him here, because Sheikh Nasser was very successful.

Perhaps that's all. I rather tired you with my libations, although believe me, it took a lot of effort to restrain myself and I did not tell even a third)

love you. I hope you don't get confused.)

Officially, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Commander-in-Chief of the UAE Armed Forces.

In fact, the emir of Abu Dhabi, the president of the UAE.

Third son of Sheikh Zayed. An interesting point is that he and Khalifa are stepbrothers. Khalifa was born to his first wife, Hassa bint Mohammed ibn Khalifa. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed was born to his third wife, Fatima bint Mubarak Al-Ketbi.

Sheikhini Fatima bint-Mubarak Al-Ketbi had only 6 sons: Mohammed, Hamdan, Hazza, Tanun, Mansur and Abdullah. They are called "Bani Fatima" or "sons of Fatima" and form the most powerful bloc in the Al Nahyan family.

The sons of Fatima have always been influential, some political scientists even assign them a leading role in the changes in Abu Dhabi that have taken place since 2004. They received full power only in 2014, when Sheikh Khalifa had a stroke. Now it is difficult to say whether the vector of their domestic and foreign policy will change. Wait and see.

Mohammed bin Zayed went to school in Al Ain, then in Abu Dhabi. Entered Sandhurst Academy (UK) in 1979. Trained in military skills of piloting a helicopter, driving armored vehicles, parachuting. After returning from England, he underwent military training in Sharjah, became an officer in the UAE Armed Forces.

He was an officer in the Amiri Guards (an elite unit), a pilot in the UAE Air Force, and eventually became the Commander-in-Chief of the UAE Armed Forces.

In 2003, he was proclaimed the second Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. After the death of his father on November 2, 2004, he became crown prince. Since December 2004, Chairman of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi, member of the Supreme Petroleum Council.

So far, world leaders and political scientists are eyeing Sheikh Mohammed. It is known that he believes that the UAE should play a much larger role in world politics. He loves falconry, like his father. He is interested in poetry and writes poetry himself in the Nabati style.

Sheikha Fatima bint-Mubarak Al-Ketbi

The third wife of Sheikh Zayed, the mother of six of his sons, including Crown Prince Mohammed (the de facto ruler of Abu Dhabi and President of the UAE).

This woman played a big role in UAE politics during the reign of her husband Sheikh Zayed and remains very influential to this day. She is called the "Mother of the Nation".

The exact date of her birth is unknown. She was probably born in the mid-40s. In the 60s, she married Zaid Al-Nahyan, becoming his third wife.

In 1973, she founded the Abu Dhabi Women's Awakening Society, the first women's community organization in the UAE. In 1975, she created and headed the Main Women's Union of the UAE. The main sphere of interest of these organizations was education, because at that time girls in the UAE did not study at all. In 2004, Fatima facilitated the appointment of the first female minister.

Now she still heads the Main Women's Union, the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, the Family Development Foundation and several other organizations. And this despite the advanced age! Naturally, Fatima has a gigantic influence on the politics of Sheikh Mohammed and the affairs of Bani Fatima.

Dubai

The emirate of Dubai is ruled by the Al Muktum family.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Muktum

Ruling Emir (officially since January 4, 2006, actually since January 3, 1995), Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE since February 11, 2006.

Sheikh Mohammed is called the "Architect of Modern Dubai". This is a very versatile educated person and is now the most famous leader in the UAE.

Mohammed became the third son of the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Rashid ibn Said Al Muktum. His mother Lafita was the daughter of the ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Hamadan ibn Zayed Al Nahyan. As a child, Muhammad received both a secular and a traditional Islamic education. In 1966 (at the age of 18) he studied in the UK at the Mons Cadet Corps and in Italy as a pilot.

In 1968, Mohammed attended his father's meeting with Sheikh Zayed at Argoub el Sedira, where the rulers of Dubai and Abu Dhabi agreed on the imminent establishment of the UAE. After the formation of the UAE, he was the Minister of Defense and the head of the police in Dubai.

On October 7, 1990, Mohammed's father and ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Rashid ibn Said, died. Power passed to the eldest son - Sheikh Muktum ibn Rashid, who was very fond of equestrian sports, was an excellent athlete, but did not reach for politics and government.

On January 4, 1995, Muktum ibn Rashid appoints Mohammed as crown prince and, in fact, transfers power to him in the emirate of Dubai. On January 4, 2006, Muktum ibn Rashid died of a heart attack, Mohammed ibn Rashid becomes the official ruler of Dubai.

The list of achievements of Muhammad ibn Rashid is huge. He diversified the economy of Dubai, now oil revenues account for only 4% of the emirate's GDP, Dubai has become a shopping mecca, second only to London, the largest trading and financial center.

With his support or on his initiative, the following were created: the Emirates airline, the Palm and World artificial islands, the world's largest artificial harbor Jebel Ali, the Dubai Internet City zone and hundreds of other projects.

He became famous for his raids on enterprises, where he personally checked whether employees were in their places, and fired those who were absent. Sheikh Mohammed ibn Rashid is famous for his intolerance of corruption, and hundreds of officials were imprisoned for his rule, convicted of taking bribes and using their position for personal gain.

Now (note: the article was updated in the fall of 2019), he is already 70 years old, but he is full of energy and is successfully implementing his plan for the development of Dubai until 2021. He recently took part in the Arab Strategic Forum, and you can’t say that he is 70.

The love story of a simple girl and a prince is a classic plot for fairy tales and has been popular since time immemorial, so not only little girls dream of marrying a handsome, rich and intelligent “prince on a white horse”, but also fully accomplished adult women. And miracles happen, the main thing is to know where to look for him, this prince. We present to your attention the five most beautiful and richest heirs of the Muslim world.

1. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Son of the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his wife sheikhs Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum. sheikh Hamdan- a very popular person in the United Arab Emirates. He received an excellent education in the UK, graduating from the Army Military School at Sandhurst, as well as the London College of Economics and the Dubai College of Administration. The popularity of the sheikh was gained by his charitable activities: the prince directly oversees a number of funds involved in organizing the collection of funds for the treatment of seriously ill children.

Sheikh Hamdan belongs to the al-Maktoum dynasty and officially holds the position of head of the Dubai Executive Council, that is, he heads the government of the Emirate of Dubai, but he has time for numerous hobbies. Born on Valentine's Day, the prince is fond of romantic poetry, has a creative pseudonym Fazza and even publishes poetry collections. Sheikh Hamdan loves horse riding, has a large collection of Arabian horses and regularly takes part in numerous equestrian competitions.

The Crown Prince is not married, but, alas, even before his birth, he was engaged to a relative on the maternal side. However, do not be upset - no one can forbid a sheikh to have as many wives as he wants!

2. Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah of Jordan

Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah of Jordan The King's eldest child Abdullah II and queens Rania, 20-year-old crown prince Hussein bin Abdullah since 2009 he has been the heir to the throne in the Kingdom of Jordan. Belongs to the Hashemite dynasty.

In 2007, the prince entered the Royal Academy in Madaba, then, as usual, went to study in the West, and he is currently studying political science in Washington, DC, at the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. In addition to his native Arabic, the Prince of Jordan is fluent in three foreign languages: English, French and Hebrew.

Hussein bin Abdullah does charity work, runs a fund to support the development of science among young people, and also has a number of hobbies, including football and collecting motorcycles.

Despite the fact that Jordan is a country with a higher level of publicity and more "Western" values than the neighboring UAE and Saudi Arabia, there is no information about the personal life of the heir to the throne in the public domain, it is only known that he is not yet married.

3. Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun al-Nahyan

Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan Son of the President of the United Arab Emirates Caliphs bin Zayed al-Nahyan, sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun al-Nahyan is a member of the oldest ruling dynasty of Abu Dhabi - al-Nahyan. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of the United Arab Emirates with a degree in engineering and architecture, then studied international relations at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in Massachusetts, USA.

Sheikh Sultan oversees many issues of national importance. He invests in the development of sports, architecture, and also serves as head of the East Region Development Committee. In addition, he controls the work of state charitable foundations, as well as a large number of organizations dealing with cultural heritage issues.

Among the sheikh's many hobbies are many sports, art collecting and travel.

There is no information about the personal life of Sheikh Sultan either on the Internet or in the media.

4. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani

Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani Sixth son of the former ruling emir of Qatar Hamad bin Khalifa and the fifth son of his second wife - sheikhs Mozah bint Nasser al-Misned, sheikh Mohammed is a representative of another major dynasty of the Arab world, the ruling family of Qatar - al-Thani.

He studied at the Qatar Academy, received a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University's Qatar Affiliate School of Diplomacy, and an MBA from Harvard University. Sheikh Mohammed is fluent in Arabic, English and French.

According to the laws of the Arab monarchies, the eldest son of the ruler of the state is considered the crown prince, so Mohammed, being the sixth son of the emir, most likely will never become the head of Qatar. But this does not mean that the younger children of the rulers do not take part in managing the affairs of the state. Usually, the children of emirs hold positions in the cabinet of ministers or lead numerous committees that oversee issues of national importance. This is what happened to Sheikh Mohammed. The former captain of the Qatar equestrian team, he is very passionate about sports, therefore he is directly involved in the leadership of the Preparatory Committee for the World Cup, which is to be held in Qatar in 2022.

According to unconfirmed reports, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani is not married.

5. Sheikh Jasim bin Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani

Sheikh Jasim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani Brother of the Sheikh Mohammed al-Thani(not only by father, but also by mother), sheikh Jasim is definitely included in the list of the most beautiful Arab men. By the way, the appearance in our today's ranking of two brothers al-Thani not surprising. The fact is that their mother is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful women in the Muslim world. Sheikh Moza bint Nasser al-Misned- the second wife of the former Emir of Qatar is known not only as a beauty and an icon of style, but also as a very gifted politician, who takes a hidden, but quite a big part in many state issues. And therefore, it is not at all surprising that such attractive and gifted children were born to such a woman.

Sheikh Jasim bin Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani was the Crown Prince of Qatar from 1996 to 2003, but later, realizing that he was unsuitable for the role, he renounced his heir status in favor of his younger brother, the current Emir of Qatar Tamima al-Thani.

He was educated at the British Royal Academy in Sandhurst, then returned to his homeland and took up charity work. He is now Honorary President of the Qatari National Cancer Society (QNCS) and is also involved in environmental issues.

Unfortunately, Sheikh Jasim has already chosen his first wife. She was a representative of the same dynasty, sheikh Butaina bint Ahmad Al Thani Sheikh's daughter Hamada bin Ali al-Thani. The couple already have three children. But as we know

Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum is the 35-year-old heir to the throne of the Emirate of Dubai. Sheikh Hamdan is a real Oriental prince: he is fabulously handsome, owns a huge fortune and is fond of such typical things for royals as falconry, equestrianism and Formula 1 racing. His fortune is estimated at over 18 billion dollars.

Let's tell you about the life of a young billionaire.

1. Arab Sheikh Hamdan lives in incredible luxury from birth. He was born in the family of the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, the ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He also has 6 brothers and 9 sisters. In the United Arab Emirates, Hamdan is a very popular person due to his versatile image and seeming "proximity to the people."

2. In fact, Hamdan spent most of his life not in his native Arab Emirates, but in the UK, where he received an excellent education. First, he studied at the elite military school of the army in Sandhurst, which is often chosen by English aristocrats for their beloved children. Then the sheikh moved to London, where he studied economics. After several years spent in Foggy Albion, Hamdan still had to return to his homeland - there were already affairs of national importance awaiting him.

4. In ordinary life, Sheikh Hamdan looks a little different - he loves Formula 1 baseball caps, sports t-shirts and shorts. Yes, and the prince is to some extent far from politics - he is quite romantic in nature, loves travel, falconry and horseback riding.

5. The prince is an excellent rider, takes equestrianism very seriously, has his own stable and once won the Arab Olympics due to his skill in the saddle.

6. The Sheikh of the United Arab Emirates is not at all like the British princes Harry or William, although he lived in England for several years. Very little is known about Hamdan's personal life, unlike his famous "colleagues", and what is known is only rumors and conjectures. One thing we know for sure - the image makers of the royal court are constantly working to ensure that the image of the sheikh is impeccable.

7. Judge for yourself - Sheikh Hamdan is constantly photographed with children, his numerous nephews and nieces, and at the same time looks like a completely charming and kind uncle. At the same time, the sheikh does not let anyone forget that he lives in luxury - on the net you can find a lot of pictures of Hamdan with tiger cubs (he can afford to have a pet tiger instead of a modest cat!), Falcons, Arabian horses, luxury cars, in interiors magnificent palace ... In a word, the sheikh is constantly in the halo of power and wealth.

8. Of course, one of the richest people in the world cannot help but do charity work - Hamdan oversees several foundations, and sometimes he comes to visit people in need of help.

9. About his personal life and relationships with women in the UAE, they speak only in a whisper. Answering a question about his possible marriage, the prince said that from birth he was engaged to a maternal relative, so there were no problems with choosing a bride - everything was decided long before he even entered a conscious age. Several times, his photos appeared in the media with an unknown woman, but we will never see her face - the alleged bride (or wife?) of Hamdan wears a black cloak, showing the world only her eyes. Everything else is for the husband.

10. However, the sheikh has the right to have as many wives as he wants, so it is rather difficult to talk about the romantic affections of the prince. For comparison, Hamdan's father, Sheikh Mohammed, is rumored to have about five wives. We say "about" because the exact number is really unknown - there are only eyewitness accounts and conjectures.

In a word, even girls from aristocratic families have no way to approach the mysterious eastern prince, since everything related to his personality is confidential information, and the choice of wives by the influential Hamdan clan is unlikely to be left to his own discretion. This does not prevent the sheikh from having a lot of fans of his attractive appearance and various talents - after all, no one forbade watching and believing!

11. The 32-year-old Sheikh currently serves as Chairman of the Dubai City Council and President of the Sports Committee of the Emirate of Dubai.

12. Like his father, Sheikh Hamdan writes poetry. The main motives of poetry are family, homeland, romantic relationships.

13. The prince is a skilled rider. He received a gold medal in horseback riding at the Asian Games.

14. Also, his highness is fond of breeding camels, which requires considerable expenses.

He is compared to Aladdin, but Hamdan ibn Mohammed al Maktoum, the crown prince of Dubai, is far from poor, unlike his fabulous "prototype". He is modest, smart, kind, educated, writes poetry, does charity work and loves extreme sports, in addition to everything else, he is also immensely rich. Image makers of the royal family work tirelessly to create the perfect image of an oriental prince. But is it really so perfect - remains a mystery ...

Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, was born on November 13, 1982. Hamdan is the second son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum and his first wife, Hind bint Maktoum bin Yuma al Maktoum.

Hamdan belongs to the Al Maktoum clan. This dynasty of sheikhs has been in power since 1833 and has ruled Dubai from 1971 to the present. Al Maktoum is also the "supplier" of the UAE's hereditary prime ministers and vice presidents.

Rod al Maktoum comes from the Arab clan al-Abu-Falah, part of the Beni Yas tribal federation, which has dominated the UAE since the middle of the 18th century. In 1833, the al Abu Falah clan, led by the al Maktoum clan, moved to Dubai and established an independent sheikhdom here. A distinctive feature of the rule of the sheikhs of al Maktoum is the peaceful transfer of power from the previous sheikh to the heir, unlike other Arab dynasties of the Persian Gulf.

Hamdan's father, Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, also known as Sheikh Mohammed, is the Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, the ruler (Emir) of Dubai. In addition, since 1971 he has been the Minister of Defense of the UAE. According to Forbes in 2013, his fortune, most of which depends on the price of oil and investments in various sectors of the global economy, is estimated at $39.5 billion.

Sheikh Mohammed is also known for his generosity and love of racing. On October 25, 2006, he gave Michael Schumacher the island of Antarctica in the artificial archipelago of The World worth $7 million.

Hamdan's mother, HH Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma al Maktoum, is the first wife of Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum. She married a sheikh in 1979 when she was 17 years old and Mohammed was 30. Sheikha Hind graduated from high school in Dubai, but did not receive higher education due to her early marriage. Nevertheless, those close to her characterize her as a very well-read and wise person, who is aware of all events. Sheikha Hind is not a public person and does not attend events where men participate. She strictly observes local traditions and culture, but nevertheless actively works to expand opportunities for the participation of UAE women in the public, cultural, economic and political life of the country. There is not a single officially confirmed photo of Sheikha Hind in the public domain, and she never accompanies her husband on business events, unlike his other wife, Princess Haya bint al Hussain.

The upbringing of Prince Hamdan, despite the untold wealth and luxury, took place in the spirit of the traditional values of the Arab world. “My father, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is my mentor in life. I always continue to learn from him, and his experience helps me in solving many strategic issues. My mother, Sheikha Hind, is a true example of a loving and caring mother. She raised me in an atmosphere of absolute love and affection and still supports me, despite the fact that I have already grown. I have great respect for her and I think that any society where mothers are not valued is dishonorable and worthless, ”says the prince about his upbringing.

Hamdan received his primary education at a private school named after Sheikh Rashid. After graduation, he entered the Faculty of Administrative Management at the Dubai Government School. Then he continued his studies in the UK at the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst, where the heirs to the British throne, Harry and William, also studied. In an interview with Vision magazine, the prince noted that studying at Sandhurst developed in him self-discipline, responsibility, determination and the ability to work in a team. After the academy, he graduated from the London School of Economics.

In September 2006, Hamdan was appointed Chairman of the Dubai City Executive Council.

On February 1, 2008, Hamdan becomes the Crown Prince of Dubai following the abdication of his older brother Rashid bin Mohammed. It is worth noting that one of the features of the Bedouins who founded monarchies in the Middle East is their "unsettled" succession to the throne. That is, the eldest son does not necessarily become the next heir to the throne. Here everything depends on the will of the ruling sheikh.

As the new crown prince, he was appointed to a number of key positions, such as head of hedge fund HN Capital LLP and president of the new university named after him. He also served as the head of the Young Entrepreneurs Support League, the Emirate of Dubai Sports Committee and the Dubai Autism Research Centre. Under his patronage is the Dubai Marathon.

Hamdan can often be seen at all sorts of congresses and summits, where he stands out from the crowd thanks to his national dress - kandura and arafatka, which are always worn by members of the UAE royal family at official events.

There is not so much public information about Hamdan's older brother, Rashid ibn Mohammed, who was excommunicated from the throne. This is partly due to his strained relationship with his father. The spoiled reputation of the eldest son led to the fact that his father excommunicated him from the throne and forbade him to engage in any government activities. Rashid fell out of favor because of his excessive love for sports ... Everything would be fine if this passion did not result in the use of steroids, and then drugs. In 2011, the English newspaper The Telegraph published an article stating that the eldest son of Sheikh Mohammed was treated for drug addiction in one of the English clinics. At one time, Wikileaks shared even more horrific information about Rashid. The website reported that Rashid bin Mohammed, possibly under the influence of drugs, killed his father's assistant at the Royal Office in Dubai. More detailed details of the murder were not indicated in the report of the portal, which caused a number of doubts about the reliability of this information.

Prince Hamdan leads an active lifestyle, the list of his hobbies is huge - skydiving, diving, fishing, falconry, snowboarding, cycling and much more. In his free time, he writes poetry under the pseudonym Fazza, which he dedicates, among other things, to his homeland and family.

About the appearance of his pseudonym, the sheikh tells the story of an old man in the desert, who nicknamed him Fazza. “If I tell you that the nickname came about by chance, you won’t believe me,” Sheikh Hamdan says. “Once fate brought me to the desert with an old man, his car got stuck in the sands. At that moment, I was driving my hunting falcon through the desert, trying to teach him calmness during a high-speed ride between sand dunes. When I saw him, I stopped to do my duty and help a man in need. We pulled the car out of the sand, and I got into my car without waiting for words of gratitude. And then I heard a strong and determined voice directed in my direction, which said: "You are Fazzaa." This voice had a strong effect on me, but I remember even more his manner of speech and the way he pronounced the word “Fazzaa”. The nickname remained in my memory, and a little later it completely became my middle name. By the way, this old man did not know who I was, but I do not know who he is, I only remember his image. "Fazzaa" in Arabic is a person who helps all those who are in trouble.

... My poetry can fill people's hearts with happiness and help alleviate their suffering, - says Hamdan about his hobby. - I had the chance to meet many poets who helped me to identify and develop my own style. From an early age, my father listened to my poems and gently advised in which direction to move on. Hamdan's poems are mostly romantic and patriotic and, of course, many are dedicated to his main passion - horses.

A special passion for the prince, as befits the Arab sheikhs, are thoroughbred stallions and equestrian sports. His Highness has several awards from prestigious competitions, including the gold medal of the World Equestrian Games, held in France in 2014.

The list of Hamdan's victories is endless. The prince's main achievement is the team gold medal at the 2006 Asian Summer Games and the gold medal at the FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy (160 km), which he won last August on a purebred Arabian mare yamamah (which is translated from Arabic as “little dove"). “The route was extremely technically difficult,” says the prince. - In addition, it was aggravated by the weather and high humidity. I had to make sure that the horse was well protected from the weather all the time. It is not surprising that the number of those who could just finish was small for a championship of this level.” 165 athletes from 47 countries took part in the tournament. At first, the team from the United Arab Emirates took the lead, but by the end of the third lap, only one representative of this team remained on the route - Sheikh Hamdan. Many participants in the tournament were injured on the course, and the rider's horse from Costa Rica tragically died on the route from a collision with a tree. So this victory was really not easy for the prince and once again confirmed his high sports level.

The prince himself has repeatedly said that he was born in a family where horses are adored, and riding gives him a sense of freedom. Among other things, the sheikh has several camels, one of which he spent almost three million dollars, expensive cars and his own yacht. And as pets, Hamdan got himself a pair of white tigers and two albino lions.

Sheikh Hamdan, as is typical for a royal person, devotes a lot of time to charity, helping disabled and sick children, purchasing medical equipment.

Netizens sometimes compare the Dubai prince with Disney's Aladdin, the hero of the Thousand and One Nights fairy tales. And also notice his resemblance to actor Eric Bana (Australian actor, starred in such films as Hulk, Troy, Star Trek. - Approx. ed.). Almost two million users have subscribed to Hamdan's Instagram page.

Very little is known about Hamdan's personal life, unlike his famous European "colleagues", and what is known is only rumors and conjectures. One thing is for sure - the image makers of the royal court are constantly working to ensure that the image of the sheikh is impeccable. He often takes pictures with children and animals, demonstrates his versatile hobbies and looks very charming and kind at the same time. Which, undoubtedly, plays a positive role in creating the image of a prince "close to the people."

About his relationship with women in the UAE, they speak only in a whisper. But even among the whispers, very piquant rumors slip through. So some "well-wishers" explain the status of a bachelor Hamdan by the fact that he is a representative of non-traditional orientation. However, answering a question about his possible marriage, the prince says that from birth he was engaged to a maternal relative - Sheikha bin Thani bin Said al Maktoum, so there are no problems with choosing a bride - everything was decided long before How did he ever reach adulthood?

However, from 2008 to 2013, he was in close contact with another of his distant relatives, whose name is unknown. But this relationship ended in January 2013. The arranged marriage was immediately canceled for reasons that were not made public. Already in the summer of 2014, the prince met a new love. Hamdan fell in love so much that he announced his engagement very soon. His chosen one was Kalila Said, a 23-year-old refugee from Palestine, who grew up in the slums of an Arab metropolis. Young people met while working on a charity project in one of the disadvantaged areas of the capital. You can’t call a girl a money hunter: the prince had to seek her attention for more than three months before she agreed to go on a date, but soon the couple became inseparable. According to rumors circulating in the country, Sheikh Mohammed was not very pleased with the choice of the prince and even threatened to deprive his son of his inheritance, but to no avail. The young man chose love, as a result of which the father reconsidered his position, resigned himself and, it seems, even gave the couple his blessing.

However, fans of Hamdan should not despair: in the UAE, the sheikh has the right to have as many wives as he wants. By the way, Hamdan's brother, Prince Said al Maktoum, also married a girl of low birth, Azerbaijani Natalya Aliyeva. She worked as a waiter in Belarus (where they met), and in the UAE she became Princess Aisha al Maktoum.

Despite his fame and a billion-dollar fortune (according to Forbes for 2011 - $ 18 billion), the prince tries to behave very restrained in public. “The fact that I am the son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid does not give me an unconditional right to refuse my duties,” says Hamdan. “On the contrary, I feel that my brothers and I have an obligation to be more responsible and take every job as seriously as possible.”
