Nicknames and names, of course, will not sound in this material, however, the testers or the developer of this department will understand the essence and recognize some of the personalities.

First of all, we want to subjectively and correctly describe what this place of work is like. We don't want to humiliate or offend anyone. Ready to plunge into the world of testing Wargaming? Then let's go!

Marokko (the person in charge of ST WoT) somehow wanted to tell everything in detail and even shoot a video, but in the end it somehow didn’t work out. And so we write. If you want to skim through the text in 1 minute, you can immediately close the article.

SuperTest (ST, ST) is one of the stages of testing the game, when local checks in the office (by the company's employees) are completed, and mass testing of those innovations and fixes is required, which the employees simply have no time to close. It is SuperTesters (Toasters, crabs) who receive the first information about future updates, tanks, etc. It should be noted right away that this information is closed and is under NDA. CT is a copy of the forum and the game with overlay patches, each patch comes with a certain update that is tested.

NDA (Non-disclosure agreement) - an agreement on non-disclosure of confidential information. Such a contract can be signed with any subject to whom you entrust access to confidential information.

But it is from here that the main flow of "information leaking" is popularly called - (Exclusive) info from ST. It is from this information that we can look at the maps in advance or find out the preliminary performance characteristics of the tank. Watermakers often make videos on this topic. But above, I wrote that all the information is in the public domain, so if they find out that it was you who "leaked the information", it will not be easy for you ... Have there been such cases? Yes, there are a lot of them. They caught toasters that leaked information and were hard on the ass. Then no one saw them. At a minimum, you will simply be kicked out of the SuperTest and all accounts in all the company's projects will be banned forever, at the very least they will make you pay a very substantial fine, because they have all the information on you. Now things are a little different with plums, there are fewer of them.

Well, scared you dear friend? Let's move on to the next step. If you decide to go to the WoT testers, help your native game, direct the game in the right direction, then ... you will not succeed, but more on that later.

You go to the forum under your nickname, scroll to the very bottom and see a special section. Then you read carefully 2 topics and start writing an application. I will say right away, write thoughtfully, clearly, constructively. If you do not have a very strong computer, this is not a problem, if the application is good and competent, there will be no problems. Important! No need to flood or offtopic, write your form and wait. You may get an answer in a week, or maybe in a month. Just periodically "check" the forum. In case of a positive answer, an additional questionnaire and a test task will be sent to you in the PM at the tank forum. It will also need to be filled out in a personal conversation, thoughtfully and complete a few simple co-test tasks. It will take everyone differently, on average 2 hours. And if you have done everything well, you will be informed about this in the same conversation on the forum and you will only have to wait for a letter to your mail. Within a week, a letter will come in which there will be all the information: passwords, server, links.

That's all, you are almost a WoT SuperTester (While you rushed to the forum to write your applications, think well).

After receiving the letter, we enter where we can and go to read all the rules on the tester forum. Next in TS we will have a short briefing (about an hour) and you will eventually be asked if you are ready to go further? Only 1% after this stage usually leave the SuperTest, and there are some. After passing all the tests and questionnaires, they understand that this is not for them. After that, you will be given a badge (a special group in TS) and you are 90% already a full-fledged tester. In fact, everything is not so scary, and if you know how to think, everything is very simple and easy. By completing these 2 tests, you are a full-fledged WoT tester. Congratulations!

What will you do on ST? Of course, to test tanks and various chips. From button and launcher tests to game mode tests. All testers have access to all tests. I forgot to mention above that, on average, you need to devote 1-2 hours to ST for 20 days, so as not to fly out in a month. You can devote an hour a day for 30 days. And then you will be all right. Further, when you get comfortable, you yourself will determine and distribute your time and going to tests. But if you are a good tester, believe me, this volunteer work eats up a lot of time. A lot of time! In a month or two, if you hold out on the base, you will be given a special, exclusive tank - T-44-122. Only SuperTesters have this tank and you can brag to your friends. The tank is a kind of "imba" at level 7. One important detail, from a new batch of arrivals to ST, usually there are 50-100 people of them, only 70% remain - this is an extremely important observation!

Now a little about your tools:

  • ST forum - here you will write your feedback, the forum has all the rules, regulations for testing, each tank / map has its own specific regulation, you need to familiarize yourself with it before testing.
  • Mail - everything and everything will come here. In a year (if you hold out), you will have 1,000 more messages in your inbox. Everything comes to the mail, patches, regulations (which are duplicated on the forum) and much more.
  • TS - during the test, you must be in the test room. During the test, you can have a casual conversation, or you can, for example, listen to music. Quite a lamp atmosphere, but more on that later.
  • Jabber conference - start / end / announcement of a set of tests, time, organizer, important announcements (duplicated by mail), in general, you can find out all the information here.
  • Server - there are several. An ordinary server with all the tanks in the game, huge reserves of in-game currency. I think everything is clear here.
  • Bugtracker is a special site for working with bugs in the game.

All tests usually take place in practice rooms. These are tests of new tanks on the Krabovo map (and some others) 5x5, less often 6x6. New tanks are tested against some replacements at their level. One team has 5 new tanks, the other has 5 old ones. But I will talk about this later.

There are also Kart tests. And many other small tests.

In principle, the ST is quite a lamp and soulful atmosphere. You can always discuss some news or talk about pressing issues during the test. Chat in the Jabber conference fludilka or TeamSpeak, gather a party in Dota2 or CS:GO. You can safely play Hearthstone in special TS rooms and talk with your colleagues about the problems of the game. There are many possibilities, this ST is not only tests, tests and tests again. You will make friends and take tests together. If you find yourself there, you will hardly want to leave. The most interesting thing is that there is a system of bonuses and rewards on ST. At the end of each month, you will receive a promotion in the form of gold to your main account:

  • 1 test is 1 point.

Gold can be obtained a maximum of 34500 gold per month. Those. you will need to score 120 points in 1 month. But it takes a lot of time to test. And not everyone has such indicators. On average, for testers, this is 9-12k gold per month per base. One more moment will be a pleasant and main bonus of the SuperTest of Tanks.

After the release of the patch, an average of 3-4 tanks are added to your main account, which, you can ride in random, an unlimited number of battles. But do not get carried away at all, because on full gold you will not be able to raise your stat. And one more thing, if any of these tested tanks is put on the free market, then this tank will remain with you on the base forever. Here's a not-so-cheesy bonus. Often, there are 1 of these tanks, a maximum of 2 in a patch. But the rest of the tanks are strictly taken forever (GK, LBZ, EU-server, gift set, gift tank). And another bonus will be roaming for certain SuperToasters. But it's not for everyone. The last bonus will be the opportunity to get tanks that are not on the market, for example: KV-5, Type 59, E-25, TOG II * and others. Participation in the Supertest is a free volunteer work aimed at helping the World of Tanks project.

The preparation process for Update 9.17 has officially begun. It's time to talk more about the new features and content of this version, namely two branches of Swedish vehicles, "two and three gauge rules", new high-detail vehicle models, updated mini-maps and other nice little things. Supertest— testing of the new version at an early stage of readiness. This process allows us to understand if everything is in order with the new version, as well as quickly detect potential problems. The World of Tanks Supertest consists of two stages. The first stage is testing individual functional innovations in the process of their development (testing a new map, balancing a new machine, etc.); the second stage is a version test after the release of all innovations. Supertests are a great way to see how well new content works for a small number of players in real time. Usually supertests are held one and a half months before the release of the version.

If the results of supertests show that the functional innovations are fully ready, we move on to the stage of general tests.

The second branch is mixed. It starts with the first armored vehicles produced by the Swedes, including a light tank.Strvfm/21 , and unites various lungs ( I-III levels), average ( IV-VII levels) and heavy ( VIII-X levels) tanks. Strv 74(Tier VI) compensates for its low dynamics and weak armor with a powerful weapon. In addition, the gun depression (-15°) characteristic of Swedish tanks allows the vehicle to deal with enemies from afar without the risk of being easily detected.

Located on level VII Leo, which boasts the best dynamics and the highest one-time damage for its level, but it has to pay for this with low maneuverability and relatively weak armor.

On Tiers VIII-X, there are heavy Swedish tanks with good turret armor, guns with magazine loading system and large vertical aiming angles already familiar to the Swedes, which will allow you to explore new tactical possibilities and gameplay features, as well as test your strength in competent use of the terrain. terrain. Updated December 1st. To make playing the new Swedish Tier VIII-X tank destroyers as comfortable as possible, we introduced certain mechanic changes during the first stage of the Public Test. However, after analyzing the information received, the team came to the conclusion that our innovations will affect the gameplay too much. Such a basic and important for each player mechanics of the game as the calculation of armor penetration will be affected.

We agree with the players on this issue and that is why we decided to carefully review and reconfigure the current mechanics. This will take time, but we want to make sure that our innovations are reasonable and effective enough. They must meet quality standards and not interfere with the gameplay or interfere with the enjoyment of the game.
