For two years (in June 2015 they announced the start of development, June 2016 - the game video was shown at E3, May 2017 - release) the German game developers from the Deck13 Interactive studio implemented their project - The Surge. Splash (as the name translates from English.) is a sci-fi style action RPG game with challenging and demanding battles in the style of games in the Souls series.

The plot of The Surge takes us to a future in which humanity has suffered from climatic cataclysms, and most of the world is garbage dumps and factories. Against such a gloomy background, a company engaged in total robotization brings its own difficulties to the lives of poor people.

The protagonist in the game is an ordinary person in an exoskeleton, which is now on almost everyone. We will manage it from the view of a third person, and the gameplay is battles with opponents and pumping yourself a loved one. Enemies will be represented by the same people in an exoskeleton or robots. The arsenal contains various weapons that have yet to be obtained, but simply mindlessly hitting the enemy will not work - they can easily overwhelm themselves. So you will have to use various tactics, since our character has a couple of tricks in reserve that will help to overwhelm the enemy. As for pumping, everything is simple here. You see the enemy, and on him the armor is better or the weapon is more powerful. You'll have to select the only one true in the game way and upgrade yourself in order to continue your journey around the world.
