Prayer for the deceased up to 40 days

In the magazine "Wanderer" for May 1862, there is a revelation communicated to the Svyatogorsk Father Seraphim by one of the Athos hermits. “The reason for my entry into monasticism was a vision in a dream of the afterlife of sinners. The meaning of this dream was soon explained. I received a letter from Tatyana Nikiforovna, in which she informed me that the Lord helped her arrange an eternal commemoration for her husband, my brother, in Holy Athos.
