THIS MUSIC WILL BE ETERNAL IF...

The third festival of the Nizhny Novgorod rock club has ended. Usually, after such events, the city of Gorky was buzzing, arguing, divided into groups defending this or that opinion...
The current rock festival was more like family holiday- everything happened in their own rocker circle, without the help or participation of official authorities. Perhaps this is also why the results of the festival “pour out” on the newspaper page not in the form of a heated discussion between irreconcilable supporters, but in a quiet chamber conversation between two spectators - Alexander PLEKHANOV, who participated in the 1st regional rock festival as part of NEW TALES, and the secretary of the Nizhny Novgorod rock club leading column “Musical Environment” Svetlana KUKINA.
However, if readers who were spectators at the rock festival have their own opinion, we are ready to argue. Therefore, read, remember and write to us at:
603600, Gorky, GSP-418, st. Sverdlova, 7, “Lenin’s Shift”, “Rock-89”.

A.P. - The third Gorky rock festival has ended. Unlike the first two, it passed quietly and peacefully and was to a certain extent predictable. Suffice it to say that thanks to a powerful pre-emptive selection, it included already well-known rock favorites, more or less constant in their development, and several originals (UNCHURISH FORCE, PolGPD), but even those have already been sufficiently studied.

S.K. - It seems to me that the audition group went too far in their intoxication with power. Rocker purism led to the fact that the musical palette of the selected rock groups turned out to be monochromatic, if not faded. For example, art rock and singer-songwriters were completely excluded, and “heavy” bands were represented very poorly and inexpressively. They are even on at a certain stage They wanted to not include training in the program at all.
Of course, quantitative restrictions also did their dirty work. If I'm not mistaken, only five groups had to be selected during the audition. The rest passed through automatically, like the leaders of a rock club. At the first festival there was a good practice of creative workshops, at which not very experienced musicians performed. The best of them got into competitive concerts. Maybe we should return to this practice?
In addition, it would be possible to stage in a concert not the entire program, but two or three things that satisfy the picky tastes of the listening group. SHERL only played three pieces, and it didn’t make anyone feel any worse. Now that the festival fatigue is forgotten, it seems to me that the concert programs could be slightly “loaded up”. General level I wouldn't lose the festival.

A.P. - One way or another, the festival produced a picture of “programmed discoveries” and “uniform forward movement"in the development of rock music in the Gorky region. It may not have been bad, but it was just somehow calm, and this calm turned into boredom...

S.K. - Yes, this time it was complete peace and quiet. But this showed that the rock club coped well with the festival. By the way, it is worth praising the director of the Moskovsky District MC Vyacheslav Ulanov and the rock club administrator Igor Krupin for their boundless optimism and offensive confidence. Still, the main credit for holding the festival belongs to them.

A.P. - But the festival did not become a holiday. It took place at the farthest and, perhaps, worst venue in the city - in the Green Theater of Sormovsky Park. The acoustics of the concerts left much to be desired. At the previous festival, which took place on a worse device, but in a more suitable room, the sound was almost the same.

S.K. - I want to object. The device was wonderful, but the advice of well-wishers who “stood over the soul” of the sound engineer did not always benefit the sound. The sound culture of most of our musicians is embryonic; it is a common and lingering problem.

A.P. - The second consequence of the Green Theater is the small number of audiences that reach this protected corner. Spectator seats were filled to a maximum of half. In addition, the postponement of the festival to the beginning of June automatically cut off most of the potential audience, students who had to choose between music and the session. Therefore, the benches were mainly filled by the “party” - loyal fans. But they don't need music. They go to concerts to smoke, shake their ponytails, show off, wait for the next stop and rush off to get beer.
I would formulate main problem, staged by the festival, thus: rock in Gorky has ceased to be the ruler of thoughts, the conqueror of the hearts of generations. At first, he fiercely fought against the “pop” touch, consumer goods and officialdom, he now goes to the other extreme and gradually turns into a kind of elitist snobbish island, where everything closes in a vicious circle. Musicians grow out of the “party”, but do not go further. They sing about the “party” and for the “party”.

S.K. - Of course, there have also been fewer metalheads, and those who were previously attracted to rock concerts only by scandalousness, wit and the element of forbiddenness. Now all over the country they are talking about a decline in audience attention to concerts. However, Sergei Minaev’s concerts, which took place at the same time at the Sports Palace, were sold out. And he believes that his main audience is precisely students...

A.P. - However, let's return to music. Stylistically, I would divide the groups performing at the festival into three areas. This is tradition, hard metal flank and “new wave”. The last cohort was the most numerous (out of five laureate places - three, if we consider punk rock as the forerunner " new wave"). This choice seems somewhat artificial and is determined, it seems to me, by the taste of the members of the selection committee and the jury. I agree that the style of this trend is new today and quite fashionable all over the world. I'm not sure that it is typical enough for Russian rock. At the concerts it was clearly noticeable that the Gorky people are not yet very strong in the “guitar wave”; the best of those who performed in this style seems to me to be the deeply romantic Leningrad LOOP OF NESTEROV, which charmed many with its minimalism of means and richness of imagination.

S.K. - By the way, just recently the only representative of the style in the city was KHRONOP. Times are changing! But I have a seditious thought: adherents of this style, as a rule, are not distinguished by virtuosity. For us, anyway. Maybe the “wave” is just easier to play?

A.P. - Of the traditionalists who performed at the festival, at least two teams deserved the title of laureate: NIZHNY NOVGOROD and PolGPD. Why NIZHNY NOVGOROD did not become such is a mystery inaccessible to the mind of a mere mortal. At their performance, I did not see indifferent faces, and the group objectively improved musically and lyrically. Maybe the fact is that they live far from Gorky and do not fit into the “true Nizhny Novgorod “get-together”?..

S.K. - I completely agree and would add one more name. This is SPARTAK from Uren. I don’t know about laureates, I would introduce something like a category “musicians who deserve more recognition.” SPARTAK has so many musical advantages! I really liked the bass player, his moves are really traditional, but everything is very appropriate, organic, beautiful, in the end! The vocalist has excellent abilities and intonation is excellent. And then, the man sang with a broken arm, he should have been given a prize for his courage! And there are some wonderful things - “Bosch’s Soldiers Are Coming”, “Lullaby”. “Lullaby” completely shocked me. A serene title, a non-standard arrangement - Alexey Petrov with a guitar and some crystal bells on a Yamaha, sounding almost like the celesta in Tchaikovsky’s ballets. And against this strange, insinuating background, such ominous and tearing words: “Hello, Judas. I'm visiting you... Old bastard. Do you smell good? God will help you, but the devil will help you.”

A.P. - But if the GPA had not been noted, I would have completely lost faith in justice. Their joint performance with A. Khrynov brightened the festival and reminded us what country and what time we live in. I don’t know how strong the alliance between Chigrakov and Khrynov is, but today it’s not a shame to show such a program anywhere.

S.K. - And they show it. In Kharkov, for example, they became the favorites of the public, the “highlight” of the “Rock Tournament-89”. Perhaps the performances of PolGPD were awaited with maximum tension. Still, the most unexpected plot: the former “best metal band of the Union”, as a year ago GPA was awarded the title in Moscow at the “Rock Periphery” festival, and Alexey Khrynov, who easily won over the audience on an all-Union scale...
Of course, some shades are missing. Two such seasoned personalities - Chigrakov and Khrynov - a certain mutual destruction was spontaneous and inevitable. But what Sergei Chigrakov calls “Russian” rock, in new program there was plenty. Many of A. Khrynov’s works undoubtedly benefited from this union, for example, “Planes are Flying,” which is performed by voices to the motorized roar of drums. “Soldier” is very good, in my opinion, the most dramatic song by A. Khrynov. Such a wealth of shades!
The new hits of the GPA are good - “Perestroika”, “Demonstration”, “Passport”. In general, it became very easy for the group to sing along. True, the program is crude, or rather, unpolished, somewhere the bass guitar part falls apart, somewhere the voices are out of tune, still not a Georgian choir. And they don’t flaunt their musical capabilities. But Chizh, with his energy potential and his sincerity, will pull out any program. The atmosphere of the song is important! I saw how in closed halls he magnetically attracted people to himself, to the stage, and appeared in the hall single organism, singing with him, raging in one impulse. This is what a holiday is. It's a pity that our viewers were too divided. There was no such effect.

A.P. - Unexpectedly, an UNCLEAN POWER grew and emerged. If the second festival gave them a complete failure, then the third - a complete triumph. THE UNCLEANERS are progressing musically surprisingly quickly, and given their inimitable show, I think they will easily “remove” the highly praised SCREAMS OF VIDOPLYASOV.

S.K. - Ilya Pokhlebkin, of course, is the best showman in the city and its environs. Do you remember his convulsive dance of little swans? They should be paired with Mamonov. I finally realized that punk is a lot of fun and not at all vulgar, Ilya brilliantly balances on the necessary line. Man has an absolute sense of proportion! However, no, it doesn’t. Otherwise, I would not have reduced my throat to a helpless state and would have performed at the gala concert.

A.P. - MISSIONARY among the best, in my opinion, in advance. Of course, Zhenya Buldakov is an excellent vocalist and moves well. But there are a lot of complaints about the other musicians. I think they can hardly be satisfied general opinion that the MISSIONARY is one Zhenya.

S.K. - However, you can’t go against the truth. Everything rests on his drive (just some kind of bundle of energy), on his beautiful voice (but he sings “on chords”, if only he could earn knots, well, where can our rockers do vocal production?).

A.P. - Chronop’s performance seemed unsuccessful to me. Firstly, the sound engineer gave the band some kind of strange bass and drum sound, pushing the guitars and voice into the background. Their performance at the gala concert was disrupted. Secondly, I didn’t hear anything fundamentally new. And this despite the fact that we are accustomed to the leading non-standard position of CHRONOP in Gorky rock. If this continues, then the heirs of Julio Cortazar risk getting lost in the rapidly growing stream of “Q” and “yu-tu”-like groups.

S.K. - This is what it means to choose a place poorly. I heard the competition performance of CHRONOP from behind the fence - wonderful! (Although the phrase sounds ambiguous). Compared to last year, KHRONOP has lost one highlight - Igor Tychinin's saxophone. But it didn't get any worse. I discovered guitarist A. Tereshkin and bassist I. Maksimov. Their persistent rehearsals yielded excellent results. Vadik Demidov wrote a wonderful song: “I didn’t burn you in the sad fire of rock and roll.” Such a poignant and bitter image, just Jim Morrison! An excellent poet Vadik Demidov. And the fact that you haven’t heard anything fundamentally new... People honestly and consistently follow their chosen path, and the quality is growing tremendously. This is bad?

A.P. - SHERL was nominated from the hard metal faction to the gala concert. Vladimir Bykov is a skilled guitarist, and there are no complaints about the other musicians, and... that's all. I don’t know what else to say. There were no young men with chains around their necks, who get wildly excited at the first sounds of “metallic” music, among the festival audience. And those who were present greeted SHERLA’s ultra-short program with very restraint.
So, the third festival is over. Better steel musicians play, the sound is cleaner, there are fewer overlays. Everything is clear today. What's next?

S.K. - I would like to believe that we will look for answers to this and other questions together. True, Gorky rockers, unlike fans of Yuri Shatunov, rarely write to the newspaper; they prefer to get off phone calls and conversations during meetings. But still, it’s worth not only arguing on the principle of “like or dislike”, not only verifying with practice “how many people - so many opinions”, but also thinking about how to increase general culture musicians and connoisseurs. How can we ensure that laureates at rock festivals provide not only moral satisfaction, but also material benefits, money, instruments, advertising, access to television screens? How to still provide a buffet, so necessary at the festival? Coffee? Finally, where to get it technical equipment, allowing you to combine the delights of Woodstock, concerts under open air, and normal acoustics, modern lighting, decent scenography?
But this seems to be from the realm of dreams...

The whole country these days is discussing the events in Dagestan, where almost half of the government of the republic has been arrested, including the former acting prime minister of the region Abdusamad Gamidov, his former deputies Shamil Isaev and Rayudin Yusufov, as well as the former Minister of Education Shahabas Shakhov

Power scenario

Formally, what is happening in Dagestan is in no way connected with the Nizhny Novgorod agenda. However, some parallels can still be drawn. Obviously, the new regional heads appointed by the president last year should not have received resistance from local elites. And so it went. But not everywhere. In Dagestan, the site for Vladimir Vasiliev is now being cleared personally by the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, who, in fact, is changing the composition of the government, dismantling the local clan-oligarchic system. Doesn't this remind Nizhny Novgorod residents of something?

In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the now former governor Shantsev did not want to prepare a comfortable environment for his successor, and Gleb Nikitin was forced to deal with the front. At the same time most The acting heads of regions successfully, without conflicts or radical breakdowns, “landed” in the regions and began working with local teams. In our region we had to include a “forceful” scenario of dismantling the opposing political system. What resulted in the events of December 19, when the “shadow cardinal” Nizhny Novgorod Oleg Sorokin, in jeans and a sweater, was transported in handcuffs under the guns of television cameras. This came as a shock to the Nizhny Novgorod political elite, but it gave the necessary signal. Any possible resistance to the governor sent from Moscow will be suppressed, Gleb Nikitin has been given the green light to work personally as president.

It's the retinue that makes the king

Residents of the region largely note the positive changes that have occurred over the six months of government. A positive image of the new governor is being formed in society. Gleb Nikitin has gained an image for himself nice guy. Moreover, representatives of the female electoral group especially sympathize with him. He is young, witty, charming, and approachable. He gladly gives up privileges, his car sits idle in traffic jams like everyone else, he goes to the cinema with the people - to regular screenings. In short, "the guy from neighboring yard" Of course, all this evokes sympathy.

The only complaint about at the moment There remains a lack of a strategy for the development of the region. But information has emerged that it seems to be preparing to be presented in April.

Gleb Nikitin decided to completely restructure the government. By the way, only two - Gleb Nikitin in the Nizhny Novgorod region and Andrei Travnikov in the Novosibirsk region - took this step. The rest of Putin's appointees limited themselves to cosmetic changes or did not change anyone at all. This in other regions is explained not only by the peaceful departure of former regional heads, but also by the unwillingness of locals to openly fight with presidential appointees.

However, it would be a mistake to think that the current composition of the governor’s team is serious and will last for a long time. There is no doubt that changes to the “cabinet of ministers” will continue. Nikitin studies and increasingly comes to understand that the king is being played by his retinue. And the personnel legacy he inherited from Shantsev is, frankly speaking, weak. The story of his resignation speaks volumes about his quality. O. General Director of the Fund overhaul Vladimir Chelomin, who could not pass the qualifying exam, gaining only 36 points out of 50. The same situation could easily happen to some of our ministers, for example, Alexei Morozov. And all because Shantsev needed not professionals in leadership positions, but resigned and uninitiated executors of his orders.

Valery Pavlinovich is a conservative manager who preferred to keep the region under manual control. Gleb Nikitin adheres to innovative approaches. He needs intellectuals on his team who will independently, without slaps on the head, be responsible for a given area of work. Another evidence of this is the new governor’s visit to the finals all-Russian competition“Leaders of Russia”, held on February 9 – 11 in Sochi, where 8 Nizhny Novgorod residents came out at once. Gleb Nikitin said that the regional government would be ready to consider the prospects for their work in the government structure or municipal bodies, as well as other proposals for cooperation. Therefore, the regional government ministers who have retained their positions should not delude themselves about long-term prospects.

Big sweep

Meanwhile, in the regional center, the “great purge of the ranks” has begun and is in full swing. The resignation of the general director of the Nizhegorodelectrotrans enterprise, Maxim Dranishnikov, caused a significant resonance. Formally, he resigned at will, and this happened after it became clear that some of the rolling stock had expired MTPL policies: having calculated your risks, insurance companies did not enter the NET motor third party liability insurance competition. The lack of insurance policies, in turn, was the reason for internal conflicts with carriage drivers and trolleybus drivers who do not want to bear civil liability in the event of an accident.

But this is only the visible part of the iceberg. Maxim Dranishnikov – brother chairman of the permanent commission of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma on city development, construction and architecture Andrei Dranishnikov, who for some time was built into the Sorokin “organized political grouping”. Apparently, its representatives Vladimir Panov will now drive out demons from the leadership municipal enterprises. Next in line are the general directors of NPAT, Nizhny Novgorod Vodokanal, Teploenergo and NEK.

It is no coincidence that the film “The Stolen Water Canal” has been posted on the Internet. It is obvious that the old “municipal and energy” guard, which went into the shadows after the resignation of Oleg Kondrashov, has now become more active and hopes to take revenge. Moreover, the struggle for municipal resources will clearly be accompanied by mutual information attacks. So it will not be easy for Vladimir Panov to act as the “new broom”. At the same time, he was lucky that the Nizhny Novgorod municipal unitary enterprises did not have time to transfer them into concession due to the carelessness of their management, although in the situation with Teploenergo this was almost an accomplished story. In this case, the leading resource supply enterprises would become a non-recoverable asset for the new city government.

Which chapter has a good life?

The new mayor, as we have already said, is emphatically distancing himself from the decisions of his predecessors and is happy to revise them. For example, he said that he would not allow the construction of an Orthodox chapel in Dubki Park, although we would not recommend that he enter into conflict with the Nizhny Novgorod diocese: this could end sadly.

The sword of Damocles also hung over the heads of the districts of Nizhny Novgorod. Now the mayor can change them without the approval of the City Duma. And he will certainly take advantage of it. The following chapters remain in the “risk zone”.

First of all, this is the head of the Sovetsky district, Vladimir Isaev, who received his position thanks to trade deals with the Liberal Democratic Party, relationship with Alexander Kartsevsky and the patronage of Ivan Karnilin, but never showed himself to be even a mediocre business executive. In addition, they will not forgive him for ensuring the victory of the Just Russia political group Bochkarev in the by-elections to the City Duma. Vladimir Panov was successfully elected to the State Duma, and strangers should not come here.

For the same reason, the heads of the Sormovo and Moskovsky districts will be replaced. The head of the Avtozavodsky district, Alexander Nagin, also has a great chance of relegation. But the acting head of the administration of the Kanavinsky district, Mikhail Sharov, most likely, on the contrary, will safely get rid of the prefix “acting.” He's a priest, a father. At the same time, he is a competent political strategist and knows how to achieve the desired result in elections. And Kanavians will soon need to demonstrate active participation not only in presidential and gubernatorial elections, but also... in by-elections to the Legislative Assembly.

Interesting castling

It is obvious that soon, until the summer at the latest, the former deputy chairman of the ZSNO Sorokin will be deprived of his powers as a deputy of the regional parliament. After all, he cannot avoid participating in the work of parliament for six months, because while in a pre-trial detention center, it is problematic to do this. Unlike the situation with ZS deputy Alexander Bochkarev, neither the deputies, nor even the all-powerful ZSNO speaker Evgeny Lebedev will show corporate solidarity in this case. Everyone understands why Sorokin ended up behind bars, or rather, who exactly put him there.

This means that by-elections to the Legislative Assembly will be held in the Sorokinsky district in September. Who can apply for the vacancy of the “great and terrible”? According to our information, the general director of Krasny Yakor JSC, Dmitry Barykin, may become a beneficiary. He feels a little cramped in the City Duma of Nizhny Novgorod, and he is not averse to thinking about a more status post, for example, a deputy of the ZSNO. He would like to sit in the same row with the “great producers of the Nizhny Novgorod land” - for example, Lavrichev (APZ), Anisimov (Kovalenko, Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez) and others. And finally he had such an opportunity. Highly likely to use it.

Perhaps this is precisely what explains the humility with which Elizaveta Solonchenko decided not to run for the post of chairman of the city Duma, which she vacated just in time for Barykin. On the one hand, such a decision honors her, but perhaps there is a far-sighted calculation at work. The general director of “Red Anchor”, who has no time to lead the City Duma and who does not enjoy authority among deputies (he was first elected only 2 years ago), will willingly exchange the city parliament for the regional one. By that time, political passions in the Nizhny Novgorod region will have completely subsided, and, perhaps, Solonchenko, having convinced everyone of his loyalty to the new government, hopes in this case to lead the Duma again.

Zhirinovsky amused, Grudinin disappointed

Meanwhile, there is a month left before the country's presidential elections. And last week, two of the top five highest-rated candidates came to Nizhny Novgorod at once.

On February 8, Vladimir Zhirinovsky visited Nizhny Novgorod. The leader of the LDPR was in his repertoire and charmed the public with great success. Vladimir Volfovich held a meeting with Nizhny Novgorod residents and read a lecture to UNN students. In his election program, the politician included the return of countries to Russia former USSR, as well as Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Iran. The LDPR leader talked with the students about education and family. He willingly took pictures with fans and practically did not touch on Nizhny Novgorod issues.

But the candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Pavel Grudinin, who arrived in the regional center a day later, was frankly disappointing. He tried to demonstrate knowledge of local specifics, but it would be better if he didn’t do it! Nizhny Novgorod residents expected from the honored worker agriculture, director of the Lenin State Farm CJSC, some program ideas related to the agricultural sector of the Nizhny Novgorod region. But instead, Grudinin unexpectedly criticized... the issue of construction of the Nizhny Novgorod regional court! He stated that with this money it was possible to build 5 hospitals. Thus, he showed absolute ignorance of the subject he was talking about and demonstrated a lack of understanding of the public funding system. For the construction of a new court building, which the Nizhny Novgorod region erected with a huge delay of 10 years, targeted funds were allocated from the Judicial Department of the Russian Federation. These funds should not be spent on hospitals! And if a new courthouse had not been built in the Nizhny Novgorod region, these funds would have been used for other purposes.

Grudinin answered many pressing questions in general terms, often avoiding specific answers. As a result, Nizhny Novgorod residents had the impression of him as an incompetent person, not very smart. The visit was also overshadowed by the provocation of some Red Guards, who started a brawl at a meeting of the candidate with voters at the railway workers’ palace of culture. In general, Zyuganov’s “successor” disappointed many voters in Nizhny Novgorod.

They distinguished themselves again...

In terms of the number of hours spent in traffic jams, Nizhny Novgorod took fifth place in Russia at the end of last year! These data were published by the international company INRIX.

The study showed that, on average, Nizhny Novgorod residents were stuck in traffic jams for 48 hours a year. Only Muscovites (91 hours), residents of St. Petersburg (54 hours), Novosibirsk (52 hours) and Yekaterinburg (51 hours) lose more time in traffic jams than us. Of course, the worst congestion occurs during rush hours. During this period, Nizhny Novgorod residents spend 27 percent of their trip time navigating traffic jams, and in September we even surpassed Moscow in terms of growth in morning traffic jams.

All that remains is to joke sarcastically that at least in terms of this indicator Nizhny Novgorod has reached the metropolitan level. Although, of course, there is nothing to be happy about. Moreover, there is every reason to believe that we will not lose our “leading” positions at the end of the current year. We all saw what a nightmare was happening on Nizhny Novgorod roads in January and early February...

In conclusion

But let's return to Gleb Nikitin. He will be elected governor in September. And it's time to start charming the electorate. And this requires programmatic solutions, perhaps even of a populist nature. For example, in Samara region“political clone” Nikitin Dmitry Azarov partially returned the social benefits taken away by his predecessor for pensioners and veterans. We have not yet heard anything about plans to reconsider Shantsev’s decision to support low-income people at the expense of pensioners’ wallets, which caused a storm of criticism. It would be worth doing. People would appreciate it. It won’t cost that much, but it will have a powerful effect on voters. This is just one example.

But there is still time before the elections, and we believe that the governor will take advantage of the “window of opportunity” to charm Nizhny Novgorod residents in a normal way.

A seventh grade student at school No. 70 in the city of Dzerzhinsk made a jump from a height of the ninth floor. The teenager who decided to take this fatal step had one chance in a thousand to survive. And he got lucky ticket

With the approaching elections to the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the process of dividing spheres of influence between the main figures is activated regional policy. In this regard, the tactics of the speaker of the regional parliament Evgeny Lyulin are interesting, which can be characterized as “one step back, two steps forward”

Since the end of the 16th century, the Lower Volga region and the Don became a kind of sewer for Russia. All sorts of losers, criminal elements, runaway peasants and other unemployed rabble flocked here from all over the country in search of a free, free life. There in the south, these dregs of society did not work, did not pay taxes and lived according to criminal concepts, making a living in robberies, robberies and kidnappings. But from time to time the “Don lads” also united into large gangs and attacked central areas Russia. Another such “invasion of thieves” swept across our region in 1670

At the turn of the 16th - 17th centuries, terrible misfortunes befell the Russian lands. Firstly, Tsar Ivan the Terrible, strengthening the “vertical of power”, soaked half the country in toilets and other places and ruined everything “ national economy", secondly, the country was hit by a "small ice age"caused by a sharp climate change. The consequence of all this was endless wars, struggles for power, criminal lawlessness and famine, which greatly affected Nizhny Novgorod

How many times have they told the world: history develops in a spiral, and the earth is round. That is, if you move forward all the time, then having gone around the planet, you will definitely get hit in the forehead with the rake that you stepped on at the beginning of the journey

It seems, political career Sergei Abyshev was finally covered with a copper basin. At the very least, his already vague prospects for re-election to the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma have been put to death. He was appointed by the election commission, which on September 20 refused to register Abyshev as a candidate for deputy.

The letter from abroad, sent to Nizhny Novgorod, contained black-brown powder. Workers shopping center, located in house No. 110 on Moskovskoye Highway in Nizhny Novgorod, are in a state bordering on panic on the one hand, and prostration on the other. There is a reason for this and, frankly speaking, a very compelling one.

Kleptomania, like drug addiction, is difficult to recover from. There are, of course, exceptions, but, as a rule, if a person has stepped “on the high road,” then he can no longer get off the beaten path. So Olga Chechulina - a successful businesswoman of Nizhny Novgorod, ex-deputy of the city duma, ex-adviser to Governor Sklyarov and so on - has once again gone under arrest.
