According to Senchina's friends, she did not want to go abroad for treatment. The artist preferred to undergo chemotherapy in Russia. Despite feeling unwell, Lyudmila Petrovna continued to perform and do charity work. Familiar families of the artist say that Andreev did not leave his wife.
