Military Educational and Scientific Center of the Ground Forces of the Russian Armed Forces

Military training centers are being formed at higher educational institutions, which train officers. Their graduates must serve under a contract in the ranks of the RF Armed Forces. Military training centers are abbreviated as the UVC at the university. Applicants who successfully passed entrance tests must conclude an agreement on the passage of training. Then the graduate signs a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, according to which he will have to serve as an officer in the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces for three years. Military training centers indicate the appropriate places where graduates will serve.

Differences

The order of the Russian government was brought to the attention of higher educational institutions in March 2008 "On military training centers." It also talks about the faculties and departments of military training at federal state institutions of higher education. Centers are a special form of training for contract military service. Military positions must match the officers.

How will an ordinary student differ from a cadet of the UVC and a student of the military department? A cadet goes to classes at a military training center one day every week and wears strictly military uniform. A student from the military department does the same. And the average student enjoys an extra day off. But this is not all the differences. Easy to learn - hard to fight, to paraphrase the famous saying given to us by the famous Suvorov.

Money

The cadet of the UVC was the luckiest with money. He receives a relatively large supplement to his scholarship: one hundred and fifty percent of the basic amount in the first year and about four hundred percent in the second and subsequent years to the basic scholarship. Despite the fact that scholarships are usually small, the amount is already subsistence.

A student from the military department was less fortunate, but the military training center also pays him extra from the funds of the Ministry of Defense: fifteen percent for those who did not do military service, and twenty-five percent for those who military service passed. This money is added to the basic scholarship. But if, according to the results of academic performance, the student loses it, then he does not receive anything. An ordinary student, if he studies well, receives the usual basic scholarship. And that's it.

Title and duties

Military training centers at universities are just as uneven and graduate students, as it was in the learning process. A cadet graduate of the UVC receives the current rank of lieutenant and retires for a three-year contract service. A harsh choice - a real man. Despite the fact that all three pass medical examinations in the same way, he does not have the right to receive a replacement for military service with an alternative civilian one. Just like his colleague from the military department.

Her graduate first goes to the training camp, which lasts a month or two, and then receives the title of a completely different plan, although it seems to be called the same - he will be a reserve lieutenant. He will not serve in the army. An ordinary student, of course, does not even receive a title, but most likely he will serve military service if he cannot replace it with an alternative - civilian service. Privates will have to serve, not an officer. But at the university I had an extra day a week to rest, which was also not bad. The only consolation is that an ordinary student needs to give the army only one year. A student of the military department is not required to serve under a contract, but if he wants to, he can. Lieutenant. And a cadet of the UVTS must give at least three years of military service.

Who is admitted to the military department

Federal full-time student state university, fit for military service in health, can conclude, as already mentioned, an agreement with the Ministry of Defense. In this case, the student is taught according to a program that trains reserve officers in this educational institution at the military department. A student must be under thirty years of age, meet the professional and psychological requirements that apply to these military specialties, and successfully pass a competition or selection - first preliminary, and then the main one.

The preliminary selection is carried out by the military commissariat at the place of military registration, where the head of the department gives direction. The student passes a military medical commission there, as well as a psychological professional selection. The main selection is a competition held by the commission among those who have passed the preliminary selection. Members of the families of military personnel, orphans and those who have completed military service have preference for admission. Only after this is it possible to conclude an agreement, which cannot take place if the student has an outstanding or unexpunged criminal record, if he is currently being prosecuted.

Classes at the military department

Usually this is the so-called "military day" once a week, which consists of nine of which six are training sessions, two hours are allotted for independent work and an hour of training organizational issues and educational.

The training camp lasts for thirty days, completing the training in the last semester of the military department. Usually in the summer. After the end of the training, certification is carried out according to military training in which military unit, in exceptional cases - at the university, it lasts about four to five days, the first of which is reserved for preparation, and the last - for passing exams. If the program provides, the student, after certification, is also trained in military units.

Who is accepted at the UVC

UHC are organized on the basis of a number of military departments, and students who have studied at UHC, the very next morning after receiving their diploma, must conclude a contract for three years or five years in order to immediately begin military service lieutenant of the RF Armed Forces. If a graduate refuses the contract, and also if he was expelled from the UHC or the university in general, he will have to be drafted into the army as a private, that is, in the usual manner. But also to preliminarily reimburse all the funds that were spent on his education at the UHC.

The UHC accepts students up to twenty-four years old inclusive, only full-time students who are fit for service for health reasons and meet the requirements that correspond to contract soldiers. Students from the UHC receive not only classes, but also internships and fees. UHC at medical school send students for thirty days of training, for the rest they last fourteen days. At the end of the UHC and the university, attestation is carried out.
