A ghost or apparition is the lost soul of a person who could not find his place in another world. Parapsychologists believe that ghosts remain because of unfulfilled debt, unfinished business, or because the person was not yet ready to die.

Ghosts can appear for days and even months, but mostly they are attached to a specific place or object and rarely bother you for no reason.

They mainly live near the place of their death or resting place. Many ghosts can be found in cemeteries. Not a single photograph has captured human images near graves. They could also be car accident sites or abandoned buildings.

There was a case of the brutal murder of a mother and her little son, who were then buried in the forest. The case was closed long ago and one traveler, traveling through the forest, met the ghost of a woman in patchwork clothes and with a seemingly cut throat, who was trying to tell him something.

The spirit pointed to a small hillock, near a birch tree. Soon the traveler left, but the ghost of the woman began to haunt him, showing images. Until one day he went there again and found the remains, as it later turned out, of the same mother and child. After that he saw her in last time, she appeared to him already in clean clothes with a small child in her arms. They both smiled, she thanked him and did not appear again.

Types of ghosts

There are several categories of ghosts:

Tied to a specific place. They may be tied to the house where they previously lived, to the place of their death, to things that could be passed down from generation to generation. These are the people who have never been able to find their place in life. You can even feel sorry for them, they are eternal wanderers who are looking for their life path and yourself, even after death. In fact, they do no harm.
With a special message. These ghosts appear only once and for a specific purpose. They can come in a dream and point to something, give a sign or signal. This is the soul that protects you all the time. Often people are faced with a situation when a fire starts in the house, and they dozed off, and suddenly something suddenly wakes them up, like a whisper or a breath. There have been cases when the relatives of a missing person despaired of finding him, and the ghost of the missing person appeared and pointed to the place of his death. Such spirits can be harbingers of illness and trouble.
Ghosts of living people. When a person gets into trouble, his ghost may appear to another with a plea for help. It can come in a dream or as a bad feeling. Such spirits come not only to loved ones, but even to complete strangers. There was a case when one woman dreamed of a young guy who was in a car accident, he asked her to help him and showed her the place of the accident. When she woke up, she immediately called an ambulance, indicating the same coordinates, and went there herself. The young man was saved.
Ghosts of people who returned from the other world. They can use the human body as a vessel to achieve certain goals. They can act from good or bad intentions. Such ghosts are called upon by black magicians and sorcerers to bring trouble.
Poltergeist. A series of strange events occurring in the house: strange whispers or sounds, rustling noises, creaks, wiring problems, spontaneous turning on/off of the TV, flickering lights can cause a lot of trouble psychologically, but do not cause physical harm. Such ghosts are only engaged in pranks and disappear if there is no attention.

Over the years, ghosts have been increasingly discovered in random photographs. In 1945, in England, there was a big fire, which journalists filmed for the news. In one shot, the ghost of a girl was seen wearing clothing that looked more like 1670s fashion. According to old records, it was discovered that a house had already burned in this place, where the girl died. Many consider it a fake, others tried to explain it as the result of double exposure, but this photo excited the public.

There are known cases of ghosts of living people appearing a couple of hours before their death:

The situation with a soldier who went to war and with his family. At 9 o'clock in the evening, the soldier appeared in his sister's room, spoke to her, said that he wished her all the best, after which he kissed her and disappeared. A few days later, his family learned that at 9 o'clock on that very day, he was killed in battle.
A young married couple had an incident where the wife dreamed of her father, who told her not to worry and that he had died. The frightened wife woke up her husband and told him about her dream, but her husband did not believe her. They called her father, where her mother said that her father had died a few minutes ago.
There is also a known case of self-sacrifice. During the war, small children were sent to an abandoned barn that was hidden. There was an agreement that one woman would come to them once a day to feed them. After 2 months, she disappeared for 3 days, but then continued to walk, all this time she was taciturn, brought food and immediately left. This continued for several more months, after which they were found by soldiers, who were at a loss to find the children alive. They told them that the entire village, incl. and this woman was killed.

Some ghosts appeared because of a feeling of unfulfilled duty. For example, when two friends, before saying goodbye, promised each other to meet again one day. The promise is suddenly fulfilled, after which one of them leaves the other under a certain pretext, and the next day the person receives a letter about the death of that friend a few days before the meeting.

What to do if you meet a ghost

There are many eyewitness accounts of the existence of ghosts. Their existence has not been scientifically proven, and almost every person at least once doubted that these were just fictions. It is impossible to explain the fact that the presence of otherworldly energy causes temperature and voltage surges.

Experts believe that the phenomenon of the otherworldly is not just a soul that has not found peace. There is a theory that due to a strong feeling of love and affection for loved ones, after the death of a person, part of his consciousness acquires a different shell, which protects his family and, after fulfilling his duty, leaves this world forever.

Ghosts are not to be feared; they appear to warn or give news. They cannot harm you, and on the contrary, they will often try to help.
