How I passed the exam stories. Personal experience. Unified State Examination in History: how I prepared and passed

June 19 is the day of maximum stress concentrated in schoolchildren across the country who have chosen history as one of their subjects to take. Of course, so many dates, so many historical events, personalities and monuments, not everyone can learn. Now you will find out how it was and what I would like to advise those who have noticed this item for delivery. Go.

Let's start with the fact that history is a subject that can seem both difficult and quite easy to understand for the same person. And the secret is that you just need to find an approach to studying it. I myself am not one of those who “crammed” everything academic year item.

For me, it was enough to have lessons, a collection of Unified State Exam assignments, videos on YouTube with lectures, and, of course, my favorite - documentary series and films on history. I looked and listened enough, and therefore, going into the exam I felt confident. Although it was not without studying the dates the evening before.

The first thing I noticed when I came to the exam was that there were a lot of empty desks in the classrooms. That is many people who applied for the history exam did not show up, apparently, the subject really scares a lot of people, but you definitely shouldn’t be scared! Excessive fuss and worries can cause you to incorrectly calculate the exam time.

By the way, 3 hours and 55 minutes are given to write 25 tasks. This time must be managed correctly. Slowly, judiciously, but deftly you need to deal with test part. There you will meet events scattered over periods, and historical figures, with the characteristics of their activities, and a concept, the term of which must be highlighted and written down in response, as well as contour map with relevant questions, and letters addressed to someone very important in the history of the country. Your task is not to get confused in all this diversity and answer correctly, and most importantly, within the time frame.

After reviewing the tasks of my CMM, I realized that I did not know the answers to all the questions on the test. What to do? Go home and cry? Of course not, remember that test items are written by people. This will help you in that you can imagine yourself in the place of the writer of the task and understand its logic.

If this doesn't help, you can try the same be transported into the body of a historical figure and consider what he would do in the given circumstances, taking into account his inclinations, interests and character traits, of course. Thus, remembering this or that event, territory, time period or characteristics of the governor, prince or emperor, you will come in small steps to the correct answer. At the same time, making sure on the way to him that all knowledge is with you.

And if the topic of the question is completely unfamiliar, you can just trust your intuition. Sometimes, she can suggest something that we suspect, but are afraid to answer.

And so, having reached open tasks, work in progress with text. In principle, logic, a little intuition and knowledge of main historical events will again come in handy here. Of course, it is better to study the activities of major historical figures in more detail, know at least one or two reforms in every sphere: social, spiritual, political and economic.

You can't do the last task - an essay - without writing skills. The ability to write well will help you tell to the inspector reliably and purely about an event that you don't know well.

So to summarize, here are mine useful tips which will be useful to those taking the Unified State Exam in history:

1. Find the right approach to studying history. Look documentaries, listen to interesting lectures from teachers, read books whose plot is based on real events. In general, do what you love, connecting it with history.

2. Don't worry. It is impossible to learn everything and no one will do this, so feel confident and properly plan the time for solving tasks so that you have enough time to double-check and enter answers into the forms.

3. Don't know the answer? No problem! Think about it, think about what you would do in such a historical situation. If this doesn’t help, use your intuition – there’s nothing wrong with that.

4. You still need to rely on something: learn the main dates and study the big ones historical figures, the reforms that were adopted by them.

5. Read more. And practice writing an essay. Hone your writing skills and then the examiner will read and enjoy your work, and this will put him in the mood for you from the first line.

You know, surprisingly, after I wrote the last exam, and the stress point was behind me, I didn’t want to forget everything I had gone through, as sometimes happens. On the contrary, I wanted to study history further. After all, learning a couple of dates, listening to interesting lectures, reading facts and biographies is not at all difficult, and the way your friends and classmates who are not taking the Unified State Exam look at you when you talk about what you wrote is priceless.

Have a good day everyone! Andrey Puchkov is on the line. In this article I would like to give some assessment of the Unified State Exam, at least the part that concerns history and social studies.

It’s worth saying right away that the exam itself did not go at all as many expected. Many took the “reset” “early” option in history or society, and thought that the test would be easy. But actually no. I never tire of repeating for many years now that the United State exam, and the entire education system is evolving towards increasing caste and class.

From the elevator vertical social mobility As expected, the Unified State Exam is now becoming a kind of sieve through which certain people are sifted. What I mean? Higher education becomes elitist. I think if everything goes as it is now, budget places there will be none left by 2020. All competition will be for commercial places in universities.

I don’t want to bring any kind of “social grief” here, I’m just recording the facts.

Firstly, the real main stage of the Unified State Exam turned out to be much more difficult than the same exam in the previous year. The whole difficulty of the exam does not lie in knowledge. A lot of the guys really learned a lot. The whole difficulty lay precisely in the skills: formulating thoughts, real orientation in historical map, historical erudition, the ability to see cause-and-effect relationships, etc. Those guys who didn’t even know a lot, but knew how to do this, maybe on their own, passed the Unified State Exam really well.

For example, Eduard came to me for training courses at the beginning of May. I started training around the 6th or 7th. I myself, to be honest, was not very confident in its success, since in May we were just starting with complete zero preparation is tough. However, the student passed the exam (let me remind you that he prepared from scratch) with 71 points.

I will not write about the other students without their permission; they will want to write reviews themselves. I will only say that there are those who passed with 87 points, there are those who passed with 84 points, and there are those who passed with 76 points. There are also those guys who passed below 60 points. Actually, it’s unnecessary to say anything: those who prepared and took into account my recommendations passed well, those who were mediocre also passed. There were also cases of health-related incidents.

Secondly, Unified State Exam testing and will no longer take into account what kind of work is being done at school. And quiet horror is happening in schools. I’m no longer surprised, I’m just listening to my students: in pursuit of ratings at school, all disciplines are taught right up to last call academic final year. Too many teachers do anything but teach discipline. Maybe many colleagues simply don’t see the point in studying due to the catastrophically cut time. Maybe it's something else. But the fact remains: modern school cannot provide successful completion final exam.

And the Unified State Examination is built directly according to the program. Many graduates who “woke up” (!) in the spring were sincerely shocked by the volume of topics that are in the Testing and Measuring Materials.

Third, This year, a certain subjective factor was revealed: many experts in checking the second part, apparently, received an unspoken go-ahead to “blame” the second part. Very, very few people went to appeal because they were intimidated at school or somewhere else. But the fact is that some tasks of the second part were filled up absolutely unfairly.

And now you will immediately ask: “Well, what next, what to do?” I make recommendations immediately.

The sooner you start analyzing the material on the KIM Unified State Exam, the better. It is best to start preparing from 10th grade. If you have already completed 10th grade, then I highly recommend preparing in the summer. The advantages of early preparation are obvious:

  • Studying the entire course early will give you time to delve into some of the more advanced topics.
  • Early study, for example in history, will make it possible to better repeat events, phenomena, processes and cause-and-effect relationships in World History.
  • Early study will make it possible to successfully participate in competitions in the year of graduation, which will significantly increase the chances of entering a university on a budget.

Permanent Solution and analysis of tests with a professional who will clearly show what the mistakes are and how to overcome them.

It is necessary now to begin to develop the skills of formulating thoughts, orientation in maps, and developing historical and social science erudition. This is not a matter of one day or one week, or even one month.

In general, the motto of the person who is preparing for the Unified State Exam can be formulated as follows: consistency, responsibility and systematicity.

  • A systematic study of the material includes logically structured topics on history and society.
  • Responsible attitude towards the exam and towards yourself, demanding of yourself.
  • And systematic repetition so that there is no effect of fragmented knowledge.

Best regards, Andrey Puchkov

The press service of the Office for Control in Education reported on how schoolchildren passed the Unified State Exam 2017. During the past final certification 21 graduates managed to receive maximum amount points in three exams, totaling 300 points.

There are significantly fewer children who could not overcome the minimum score threshold than last year. There are half as many high school students who did not pass the Unified State Exam in History and Russian. The number of people who failed physics decreased by 1.6 times; Russian literature, geography and basic mathematics exam - almost 1.5 times; foreign language, computer science and ICT, social studies - by a quarter.

Most high school students took the unified state exam during the main period, which started on May 29 and ended on July 1. Approximately 703 thousand participants registered in advance for certification, including approximately 617 thousand graduates of 2017. The organizers prepared especially comfortable premises for children with disabilities to pass the final assessment. disabilities health.

Examination points were equipped with video monitoring systems and printing equipment Unified State Exam materials, metal detectors, there were guards in the premises public observers. All these measures are aimed at ensuring that the state exam is as transparent and objective as possible. According to representatives of Rosobrnadzor, the total number of lawbreakers conducting the Unified State Exam decreased by almost one and a half times when compared with last year’s examination campaign.

What academic disciplines do schoolchildren most often choose to take the Unified State Exam?

As a rule, these are the subjects that are required in the universities where graduates are going to enroll. The most popular elective exam this year was the Unified State Exam in social studies, which was passed by 54 percent of total number participants of the unified state examination.

26 percent of examinees passed physics,
history – 21 percent,
biology - 20 percent,
chemistry – 13 percent.

Graduates who have not passed the certification will be able to retake the Unified State Exam after September 1.

When choosing a university to continue their education and a specific area of training, applicants can take advantage of new service, which helps you assess your chances of admission. For example, in St. Petersburg, the Unified State Exam Calculator page appeared on the websites of St. Petersburg State University, the Polytechnic University and many other universities. Here are special forms in the fields of which you should enter the received Unified State Exam results in several subjects, indicate existing individual achievements, which may include a gold and silver TRP badge, school certificate or a diploma from a secondary school vocational education with honors, participation in Olympiads and competitions. After processing the data, the system will offer a choice of training areas where you can apply the available data. The minimum passing scores of previous years for budget and contract places will be shown, as well as the threshold scores for participation in the competition.

Among St. Petersburg universities, the Big University (SPbSU) has the highest threshold scores - 65 points in all subjects. If a graduate has 64 points (or lower) in the Russian language or another subject required in the chosen field, then his documents are in admissions committee do not accept. But they can be accepted at other universities where this threshold is lower.

IN Polytechnic University Peter I, for example, in the Russian language to participate in the competition it is enough to have 45 points, the same number in physics and mathematics. If the chosen specialty requires social studies or computer science, then those scored for Unified State Exam points must be at least 50.

Each university posts detailed information about threshold scores on its official website. Also on these sites you can find information about admissions from previous years and lists of applicants, which allows you to assess your capabilities and chances of admission.

The Unified State Exam is, in my opinion, a rather difficult exam, at least it is much more difficult than the Unified State Exam (again, this is my personal opinion). It was very difficult for me in 9th grade, but I had no idea how difficult it would be in 11th grade! Therefore, I started preparing for the Unified State Exam quite late - in October 2016 (and took the exam in 2017). If only I had known what awaited me, I would have started preparing for the Unified State Exam almost immediately after finishing 9th grade!

Fortunately, everything is behind me, and despite obvious mistakes in the preparation process (which I will talk about later) and long trips to tournaments, I was still able to pass two exams with a high score (80+). I received 82 points in specialized mathematics and 91 points in Russian language. In this article I will tell you, dear readers, what helped me achieve such a high result. I would like to note that I prepared for mathematics completely on my own; my teacher helped me a little with the Russian essay. My mother’s contribution to my preparation was also significant, because often I could not come up with arguments, and my mother almost always gave me very good advice in such cases. And I am very grateful to her for this.
So, let's move on to the tips.

  1. First of all, you need to choose a specialty that you like, then decide on a university and find out what exams you need to take. Of course, I understand that many people cannot decide for a long time what they would like to devote their lives to, but time is pressing, so you need to decide as soon as possible! There are, for example, different tests, with the help of which you can determine which specialty will suit you. If you do not decide on your specialty and choose a lot of different exams, then you are unlikely to be able to pass the Unified State Exam with a high score.
  2. Start preparing as early as possible! Preferably, immediately after finishing the OGE. I have repeatedly heard that students with 100 points began preparing for the Unified State Exam two years before it began.
  3. But even if you started preparing for the Unified State Exam in 11th grade, it doesn’t matter! The most important thing is to first identify the topics that are easiest for you. Everything is very easy: open the website I will SOLVE the Unified State Exam and look at the catalog of tasks. If, for example, you have problems with stereometry, then it is best to leave it for later, first analyze the easy tasks. I relied too much on myself and therefore began to take everything apart, but I bitterly regretted it! I was stuck on stereometry for a long time; I still didn’t understand most of the problems. Three months before the exam, I realized that it was better to cover the easy topics first (for me these were, for example, inequalities, financial mathematics). So I did.
  4. Be calm, don’t get hysterical, don’t drive yourself into an abnormal state! Some graduates exhausted themselves so much that they even committed suicide because of the Unified State Exam, but this is crazy! It is clear that preparing for the Unified State Exam for many graduates (including me) is a lot of stress, because they are afraid of not having time to prepare and doing poorly in the exam. But worrying will not help; on the contrary, it will only make it worse. I will give an example from my life experience. In March, I realized that I had prepared incorrectly for the math exam (see point 3) and therefore wasted a lot of time. I was attacked by a hysterical state and, wanting to calm myself down, I decided to take a test for SOLVING the Unified State Exam, in the hope that I would do it well. But, since I had little time that day, I solved the sample in just 40 minutes, and the result, of course, was terrible - 50 points! As a result, my condition only worsened. Fortunately, my parents reassured me, saying that even if I didn’t do well in the exam this year, I could retake it next year. And I realized that I was bad passing the Unified State Exam- this is, in fact, nonsense, there are worse problems, but the problem with the Unified State Exam is completely solvable, because you can retake it! I calmed down, changed my preparation method, and my results improved dramatically. By the way, poor mental state is also affected by lack of sleep. I, afraid of not being able to make it in time, secretly from my parents did not sleep at night: I was preparing for the Unified State Exam. When I calmed down, the night lessons stopped.
  5. Get yourself notebooks to prepare for the Unified State Exam, in which you will write down tasks that you do not really understand. When, for example, I encountered an unfamiliar type of problem in mathematics, I wrote the problem down in a notebook and then learned the algorithm for solving it. As a result, I filled up more than one notebook, and there were a lot of math problems in all the notebooks! But now I know how they are solved. You can also use the notebook to prepare for the Unified State Exam in any subject.
  6. To learn to write well Unified State Exam essays, you need to write a lot of essays. For example, before the exam I wrote about 100 essays on the Russian language! But it was worth it. I received maximum score for the problem, comment, author’s position and argumentation of your point of view. I note that if I had not prepared for the Unified State Exam, I would not have been able to argue my opinion in the real exam.

What did I use to prepare for the exams?

Of course, there is a lot of good literature and excellent websites for preparing for the Unified State Exam, but I will only tell you about those books and websites that I used to prepare. First of all, this I WILL SOLVE THE USE (but everyone probably knows about this). To prepare for the Unified State Exam in mathematics, I also looked video lessons from tutor Anna Malkova , in which I found a lot interesting ideas for myself.

To prepare for an essay in Russian, I used wonderful book by S.V. Drabkina and D.I. Subbotin “Unified State Examination in the Russian language. Essay: writing algorithm, analysis typical mistakes, examples of student work samples.” This book explains very clearly and in detail what approximately should be essay structure besides, there is a lot speech clichés . The Russian language teacher ordered this book for my entire class, and I thank her very much for this, because this book made my work much easier! A little later I will write an article about writing, in which I will give some tips from this book.

Is it worth taking basic math?

It is known that with specialized mathematics you can go anywhere, but with basic mathematics you can only get into humanitarian specialty. Almost all of my classmates, even those who definitely did not intend to become humanities majors, took basic mathematics! Some were afraid of not passing the profile, others could not stand the pressure from the head teachers, who for some reason tried to force everyone to take basic mathematics. But I am convinced: you should take basic mathematics only if you are absolutely sure that you will not need a profile for admission. And being afraid that you won’t pass the profile is wrong. In fact, the tasks there are not that difficult; if you prepare properly for the Unified State Exam, you definitely won’t fail the profile. Well, if suddenly such a miracle happens that you do not pass the specialized mathematics, then you will be able to pass the basics on an additional day and still receive a certificate. For some reason, the head teachers and teachers didn’t say anything about this! I believe that, at least basic mathematics and very easy, you should not waste time on it, which can be devoted to preparing for more important exams. In addition, for many people, any exam is stressful, even if it is easy. Therefore, I recommend deciding what you will take: either the basics or the profile; you don’t need to take on everything at once.

How did I combine preparation for the Unified State Exam with studying at school?

My point of view is this: studying in 11th grade greatly interferes with preparation for the Unified State Exam. To know all subjects perfectly, you need to work a lot, and full-time study takes so much time that there is practically no time left for preparing for exams. Therefore, I did written homework in class (it’s good that I was sitting at the last desk and the teachers didn’t see anything :-)), and I did oral homework extremely rarely (if, for example, I found out that there would be an independent lesson in history, I quickly flipped through paragraph, wrote on my own what I remembered, and received good grades). When there was nothing to do, I even prepared for the Unified State Exam in class, learning algorithms for solving problems! But I, of course, cannot advise you to do the same thing, because for someone, for example, it is important to have a certificate with honors, and with such an attitude to study as I had in the 11th grade, it is difficult to deservedly receive it. The most important thing in this difficult period– set your priorities correctly and decide what is more important to you: passing the exam as best as possible or getting gold medal? I really hope that you will be able to deservedly receive a certificate with honors and pass the exam with a high score.

Remember: passing the Unified State Exam with a high score is quite possible, the main thing is to prepare for it correctly! Be calm, reasonable, manage your time correctly, and everything will be fine. Don’t repeat my mistakes 🙂 To reassure yourself, it is important to understand: no matter what our parents and teachers tell us, the Unified State Exam is just an exam, and even passing it poorly is a trifle that can be corrected in next year. I wish you success! 🙂

If you have questions, be sure to ask them in the comments!

Those who passed the last stages of the Unified State Exam Russian schoolchildren talk about the tightening of the exam rules: before the test they are searched with a metal detector, the entire process is recorded on video cameras, and they can only move around the exam point (EP) accompanied by the organizer. Survivors Unified State Exam graduates and the organizer told Medialeaks how strictly the rules were followed, how many people were expelled for violations, and whether it was possible to cheat on the exam.

Anastasia Yushchuk (name changed), organizer at the PPE

I have been working as an Unified State Exam organizer for three years. In a school, teachers who can serve in this capacity are listed as special base and then randomly assigned to the PES. Everything that happens in the classroom is recorded on camera, but there is only video without sound, so they make sure that students do not move their lips. Any incorrect turn of the head or glance under the desk is regarded as if the student is already cheating.

Over these three years, the procedure has become much stricter; they are constantly coming up with something new. For example, in computer science, students are required to sign that they are familiar with the rules for using a computer during the exam. So, now only the organizer can hand over the sheet on which they sign. If one graduate, by inertia, transfers the list to another, then this will be a violation of the procedure and the student may even be removed from the exam for this. You cannot give a pen or ruler to someone else either.

In my PPE, the organizers did not mark with chalk the place on the floor where they should stand, but I can easily imagine it. Because if the organizer who is conducting the instruction accidentally obscures a child in front of the camera, then the chairman of the state examination commission is immediately called and informed about this. Organizers may be reprimanded. Apparently, this is done in those schools where this has happened more than once, and the directors simply decide to play it safe.

Previously, you could take bottled water and food, such as chocolate, with you to the exam. Now only children with disabilities can bring food. And they leave it with the attendants in front of the audience and go out there to eat. Water can only be drawn from a cooler - this rule was introduced, it seems, last year.

This year, a ninth-grader from the school where I work managed to bring an entire tablet to the exam, which he was caught with. The student was removed from the exam, but now both the school principal and even the class teacher will be reprimanded. Allegedly, the student did not know that he could not bring equipment with him to the exam, and, of course, the class teacher did not warn him. In my PPE, no one was removed from the exams.

The organizers are paid 300 rubles per hour, but this is very hard work - they can be fired from their main job for any mistake. I know that two people have already been fired this year. One because he forgot to take the phone out of his pocket and it rang in the audience. And this happens every year.

The schoolchildren, of course, are very afraid because of the whole atmosphere. On the other hand, now they are writing off much less. Graduates know that if they are caught using a phone during the exam, they will not be admitted anywhere this year. I believe that this increases the chances of children from the outback that they will be able to enroll in good universities. On the other hand, cameras are not yet available everywhere. Until now, some graduates from the south come to Moscow with 100 points in the Russian language, but in the end they cannot speak it at all. But this happens much less often now.

Marina Legonkikh, schoolgirl from Khabarovsk

They checked with metal detectors. I don’t know about phones; in my opinion, none of my friends brought them. My classmates were searched during a social studies exam and their cheat sheets were taken away, but no one searched me. Four people could easily gather in the toilet and discuss tasks. One guy's metal detector knob beeped. Some exams were not completely metal detected, but only up to the waist, so someone could probably have snuck in a phone.

When we left, they checked that all permitted items were left for the exam, and that even pens were not taken out. They watched strictly. Even before the exam itself, some schools told us not to talk until the instruction, although, in fact, we should have been allowed to walk or talk. Only one person at a time was allowed into the toilet, and at the end of the exam two people were allowed in at a time. The organizers didn’t seem to go into the toilet. There were two cameras.

There were minor violations on the part of the organizers. During one exam, they collected our passports from all of us, although we do not have the right to do so. None of my friends were removed from the exam - I don’t know of such cases. I didn't go to tutors. In general, we were prepared well at school - especially for Russian. Russian language and social studies were very easy. Well, it really corresponded to what they said at the beginning of the exam: all tasks from school curriculum. And in mathematics there are definitely a couple of Olympiad-level tasks.

Posted by kseniya neverova (@neverovakseniya) Jun 19, 2017 at 7:57 am PDT

I think everyone took cheat sheets. Most of our class made small notebooks and wrote everything down there. True, the notebooks didn’t help much, although all the formulas were there. Some hid them in their bras, others simply in their pockets, because they were not searched. Someone even carried a solved trial version into the toilet, but these were not the tasks we had. Another guy said that his friend wrote formulas all over his hand, put on a long-sleeved shirt, and in the toilet he rolled up his sleeve and copied. There were a few cheat sheets lying around in the toilet - only for mathematics.

The situation at the Unified State Exam and all this totalitarian control was frightening - especially in mathematics, because it was the exam for which I prepared the most, and I was very bad at mathematics at school. So when I saw the assignments and realized that I couldn’t solve them, I started crying. By the way, the organizers approached: first the first one, then after 15 minutes the second one. They asked if everything was okay.

It was very annoying that some organizers did not allow us to leave before the start of the briefing. It’s even more difficult: you can’t even talk to your friends before the exam. Many who found themselves in different audiences agreed to meet, for example at 12.20, and went to the toilet. Observers could not enter the toilet. This is from my experience, because my classmates somehow had their cheat sheets taken away from them. In mathematics, I was also caught with a cheat sheet, but was not selected: the organizer simply smiled.

I wanted to enter the academy. Scriabin, but I don’t have enough points. So I don't know yet.

Vladislav Sayapin, a schoolboy from Elan, Volgograd region

I took English, social studies, Russian, mathematics - basic and profile. I prepared for English with a teacher in consultations, for mathematics, the profile - I went to a tutor. I didn’t prepare for society, only in class.

There were metal detectors at all venues, and cameras were also everywhere. It was impossible to cheat in the audience because of the cameras. Plus there was someone sitting there watching you. In general, an accompanying person.

They sat and stood and walked around the audience. When you need to go to the toilet, they take you out, give you to another escort, and he accompanies you to the toilet. During the exam, you couldn’t just walk alone, only with an accompanying person. I have many acquaintances who said that their classmates and friends were able to smuggle the phone.

We took the English language test in Volgograd because there were few graduates in our area who took this exam. Volgograd is 360 kilometers from my village, it takes five hours by car one way. On the first day we passed written part, on the second day - oral. Me and another classmate stayed overnight in Volgograd, and the third returned home the next day with class teacher I again drove to Volgograd for five hours in a car provided by the village administration.

For me, the most difficult exam was social studies. Because I spent less time on it than on other subjects. So far, I only know the scores for both mathematics: I passed the basic math with a B, and the specialized with 45 points. It's not much, but I plan to enter the faculty economic security. They don't have a budget, so for me the main thing is to cross the threshold and achieve an average score.

It wasn’t difficult for me psychologically because of the supervision. I just did the tasks and was not distracted by the chaperone in the classroom. Sometimes when they came up and looked next to you, that’s when you felt some kind of pressure. I didn’t see the boys worrying, but I saw some girls crying when they came out. In the PPE, where I was, no one was removed. Maybe this happened, but definitely not in my audience.

Daria Russkikh, a schoolgirl from Novosibirsk

The worst thing, in my opinion, is deciding future profession. At the beginning of 11th grade, I chose many subjects because I didn’t know where I would go. In the end, I took mathematics - both levels, Russian, biology and chemistry. The procedure itself is not scary, all the adults understand the children and try to cheer them up. I was most worried about the contents of the envelopes with assignments, but, as practice has shown, there is nothing terrible there either. If you are ready, then everything will be possible. It's exciting to wait for the results.

I won’t say that it was somehow psychologically difficult... Everyone was waiting for this, everyone knew what it would be. For me this was a normal procedure. Of course, everything was beeping on my metal detector, I just don’t know why. Apparently they were bra straps. Then I somehow got worried. A woman was checking, and she asked: “What do you have there?” I had nothing, absolutely! I don't think I have a phone. There were these little pieces of iron on the underwear, they apparently rattled. I say: “On the bra, most likely,” because it beeped when they ran over the shoulder blade. She: “Okay.” I remember it because the inspector asked me in such surprise. Lord, what could I have on my shoulder blade?! Well, probably the phone!

Posted by Office of Education (@uochegem) Jun 5, 2017 at 11:53 am PDT

And so... Usually you go through - everything is fine, people are not animals at all and not monsters at all. They pass quietly and check.

It happened to me that almost everywhere I sat at the first desk. There is this camera and there is it - it didn’t bother me personally. I came to write. Silence, nothing distracts me: no video cameras, no teachers, no guys. I knew there would be cameras and metal detectors, and I accepted it.

I don’t know if someone brought a phone: I was sitting at the first desk. They let us into the toilet one at a time... So I don’t know - at least I didn’t notice anything. Maybe someone succeeded in something, but that is on their conscience. At my school and in my PPE, no one was expelled. There was only one girl, she cried a lot at the end of the exam, she cried a lot. The organizer told her: “Well, at least write down what you have.” She says: “I have nothing,” and sobs.

To be honest, I don’t yet know where I’ll go. It all depends on the results. In general, I plan to go to medical school, but it will be seen.

The observers checked us very well, but this was not the case everywhere. I know guys who were able to smuggle a phone! Spurs did almost everything, but didn’t use it. I do not know why. The observers were very good: they monitored discipline, they were strict, but friendly.

I wrote mathematics, social studies, Russian, biology and chemistry. The most difficult exam for me was chemistry. Chemistry with its organics is probably a little complicated for everyone. And no matter how it sounds, I prepared first for composition (December), and then for chemistry, biology and social studies (five months). There is not much time for good preparation.

Chemistry was also difficult because I didn’t see some of the assignments. Printed part C on back side The periodic table, which I didn’t turn over! I asked all my friends, they said that they had been looking for a long time, looked in the envelope, suddenly they didn’t get the sheet, some didn’t find it at all! The main organizer said that nothing could be done. Like, I had to look at everything more carefully, turn it around, twist it. I almost cried there, but then I calmed down.

It was forbidden to use cheat sheets in the classroom. And not much in the toilet, there were observers walking around and looking. But in the toilet you could ask the girls - if you were lucky and if they were there. I asked, they asked me too. We were released from different audiences one at a time, and we entered together.

Back in the PPE, I photographed a collection of tasks for preparing for the Unified State Exam, which was thrown into trash can- from happiness. The attendant gave me the phone number after the exam. (Note by Medialeaks: graduates must leave all prohibited things outside the territory of the PSE; you can use the phone there only in the headquarters of the head of the PSE).

From my school, no one was removed from the exam, but in the PPE one person was removed. It was quite strict: for the first five minutes everything was just boiling, and then everything was ok. I plan to go to medical school.
