In pursuance of the decision taken at a meeting of the collegium of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Minister of Defense Russian Federation On September 21, 2013, a temporary regulation was approved for wearing a new type of everyday uniform (hereinafter referred to as the regulation), brought by the order of the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army D.V. Bulgakov dated September 28, 2013 No. 256/41/3101.
In order to comply with the rules for wearing everyday uniforms of a new model (hereinafter referred to as uniforms) by the military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, I bring the main provisions of the regulations:
1. Everyday uniform new type of clothing is designed to be worn by contract military personnel as a daily uniform.
2. Uniform supply norm approved
The uniform set consists of:
caps of protective (blue, black) color;
everyday protective (blue, black) caps;
a suit (jacket with long sleeves and trousers) of a protective (blue, black) color;
suit (jackets with short sleeves and trousers) protective (blue, black) color,
T-shirts in light olive (blue, white) color.
Wearing a suit (jacket with short sleeves and trousers) is provided at an air temperature of more than + 23̊С.
3. Set uniform wear:
military personnel in accordance with the requirements of the order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation of September 3, 2011 No. 1500 "On the rules for wearing military uniforms":
in the Navy - black color;
in the Air Force and Airborne - of blue color;
all other categories of military personnel are khaki.
4. Wearing a uniform when participating in activities international activities, and also as a field uniform is prohibited.
Suit jackets are worn with the zipper open to the level of the top of the pocket.
On the flaps of the chest pockets there are patches with the inscription yellow color(on the left - the surname and initials, on the right - "Armed Forces of Russia").
On the left sleeve are: sleeve badge by belonging to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, types of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, types of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, railway troops, for troops not included in the types and types of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, above it is a sleeve patch in the colors of the state flag of the Russian Federation in the form of a semicircle with a yellow piping.
On the right sleeve there is a sleeve badge according to belonging to specific military formations.
Above the flap of the left chest pocket, in the middle, there are strips of ribbons of orders and medals (so that the lower edge of the strips is at the level of the upper edge of the pocket flap) and 10 mm above them are insignia of special distinction of state awards.
Above the flap of the right breast pocket at a distance of 10 mm above the flap in the middle is placed the insignia of the end educational institution vocational education and state awards intended to be worn without blocks (in accordance with section "g" of Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of 2010 No. 1099 "On measures to improve the state award system of the Russian Federation").
Removable protective (blue, black) shoulder straps are worn on the jacket of the suit with gaps of the established colors or without them (for soldiers, sailors, sergeants, foremen, warrant officers and midshipmen), with insignia according to military ranks, lapel pins of branches of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, types of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, special troops(services) (embroidered for the day of senior officers and gold-colored metal for other categories of military personnel).
The trousers of the suit are worn loose with low shoes, shoes or tucked into boots with high berets.
On caps and caps there is an insignia according to belonging to the organs executive power, where the law provides for military service (golden cockade), senior officers, in addition, have a visor and cap band with golden embroidery.
On the caps of senior ship officers along the outer edge of the visor there is a metal ornament in the form of laurel branches.
Servicemen with a set of uniforms are allowed to wear berets of the established colors, and Navy servicemen are also allowed to wear white summer caps.
Military personnel of the Airborne Forces and the Navy wear blue and blue striped vests instead of T-shirts, respectively.
5. The procedure for wearing uniforms is determined by the commander (chief) of the military command, formation, military unit, institution (organization).

1. In areas with a particularly cold climate, a fur hat with earflaps is issued for 2 years, and warm underwear - for 1 year. A hat with earflaps made of astrakhan fur is issued for inventory use only to foremen, sergeants and soldiers performing tasks to protect the objects of the central apparatus of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
2. A woolen beret, a warm vest, a vest and a sleeveless vest are issued only to military personnel serving in the Airborne Forces, in military units special purpose military intelligence Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and internal troops Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. T-shirts or t-shirts, warm sweatshirts, underwear sweatshirts are not issued to these servicemen. Instead of warm underpants and underpants, underpants are allowed.
3. Panama (or a lightweight summer field cap, or a beret), a lightweight summer field suit and lightweight boots with high berets are issued in accordance with the decision of the RF Ministry of Defense. 4. A removable fur collar is issued only to foremen, sergeants and soldiers serving in the Presidential Regiment of the Service of the Commandant of the Moscow Kremlin of the FSO of Russia.
5. Servicemen doing military service in an area with an especially cold climate, instead of a winter field suit (jacket and trousers), are allowed to issue a winter field suit designed to be worn in an area with an especially cold climate (jacket, vest and trousers). For servicemen receiving a technical suit, a technical insulated suit, or a fur jacket and warm trousers, or a fur suit, according to the norms for supplying special clothing, the period of wearing summer and winter field suits issued under this norm is increased by 1 year.
6. A woolen cap and a woolen beret, a woolen coat, the second sets of summer and winter field suits, a woolen tunic, woolen trousers, shirts, a tie, a clip for a tie, a scarf, boots or low shoes are issued to servicemen after they pass the established test for a period of 3 months.
7. A white shirt, a white scarf and white gloves (knitted) are issued only to military personnel serving in military units and subdivisions of border control border authorities federal service security. A shirt of the established color is given to them 1 piece for 1 year. A woolen jacket is issued only to foremen, sergeants and soldiers serving in the Presidential Regiment of the Moscow Kremlin Commandant Service of the FSO of Russia, border control units and subdivisions of the border authorities of the Federal Security Service. Winter boots with fur are issued only to foremen, sergeants and soldiers serving in the Presidential Regiment of the Commandant's Service of the Moscow Kremlin of the Federal Security Service of Russia, units and divisions of the border control of the border authorities of the federal security service.
8. Servicemen are issued black woolen gloves.
9. Boots are issued only to foremen, sergeants and soldiers of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
10. Winter footcloths are issued: in areas with a particularly cold climate - 2 pairs of cloth footcloths, 2 pairs of flannelette footcloths; in areas with a cold climate - 1 pair of cloth footcloths, 3 pairs of flannelette footcloths; in areas with a temperate and hot climate - 4 pairs of flannelette footcloths. Instead of cloth footcloths, it is allowed to issue flannel footcloths.
11. Waffle towels, waffle bath towels and barracks slippers are issued to military personnel only when they are placed in the barracks.
In 2015, the Russian army completely changed its clothes. Today, all military personnel without exception have a military uniform of a new type. The plan of the Ministry of Defense of the Ministry of Defense, which consisted in the complete re-dressing of the army for more than a year, was fully implemented. This was repeatedly stated by senior officials of the main military department. The need to change the ranks of the army of our country has existed for a long time. Together with the new set of uniforms, new rules for wearing them have been put into effect.
In 2014 alone, the new uniform was issued to half a million servicemen. The distribution of uniforms was carried out in accordance with the developed schedule. The transfer of military personnel began precisely with those who served in the regions of the Far North.
General dressing began in 2013, in 2014 it continued actively, but the bulk of the Russian military military uniform clothes of an updated sample was issued in 2015. Now the naval and full dress military uniforms are in line for revision. Male and female employees will be fully dressed. Part of the 2015 Russian Armed Forces Uniform is a pattern of US military clothing.
Reforms in the field of military uniforms under Serdyukov
Modern military uniforms for military personnel were required Russian army a long time ago, and the current attempt to completely change the clothes of military personnel is not the first. Overseas clothing for military personnel is significantly superior in performance to the uniform of the military of our country. Samples are periodically introduced by the Ministry of Defense military clothing with more advanced features. For example, under the disgraced Minister Anatoly Serdyukov, about 25 billion rubles were allocated for the dressing up of the Russian army. The cost of developing and implementing a new form in 2014-2015. is still kept secret, but given the scale of this process, it is safe to say that the amounts are cosmic. 
The military uniform has been taken for revision by the Ministry of Defense since 2007, including the dress one. The main initiative came from A. Serdyukov, who held the post of Minister of Defense at that time. On a competitive basis, from the provided sketches of the selected developers, the variant proposed by the famous Russian fashion designer Valentin Yudashkin won. It took 2 whole years to prepare the final samples of the updated uniforms. The presentation of the new form was held in 2010. In many respects, both external and operational, it was similar to the uniforms of the US armed forces. But the developers strongly denied such a comparison.
The Russian uniform for the winter season caused a lot of unflattering responses from both specialists and the military personnel themselves, who had to experience new uniforms on themselves. Complaints were received by the Ministry of Defense almost daily. Due to the low performance characteristics of the new form, the number of colds in the army has increased dramatically in just one winter period. In addition, external signs of the new form also caused discontent. After all, now shoulder straps were not located in the usual place, on the shoulders, but following the example of the armed formations of the NATO bloc, they were moved to the chest area. Plus, the quality of the material from which the form was made also left much to be desired. The servicemen noted that the fabric quickly becomes unusable and breaks, and the threads are frayed, and also become unusable.
Among the other innovations, it should be noted the presence of a warm sweater in the clothing set of an officer of the Russian army, and the presence of individual components with Velcro, a narrower model of overcoats, and the complete abolition of footcloths and boots. By the way, the last abolition was valid only according to the documents, because. in fact, it was far from immediately possible to come to this in the entire Russian army.
Due to numerous complaints and dissatisfaction from the military, the military department thought about the advisability of developing a new form.
Now realized that model following the example of the form of the US military does not fit the conditions of our country. From now on, the military uniform used in the field included 19 items. It turns out that the set has been significantly expanded. The price of one such set is approximately 35,000 rubles. The parade military uniform has not yet undergone changes, because. there is no urgent need for this. Much more important was field uniform and not the front door.
Complete set of modern uniforms for military personnel
The modern uniform set is a multi-layered suit. Depending on the weather conditions and personal tastes, the military have the opportunity to personally select sets of clothes for themselves. Plus, from now on, the field uniform is identical for both the officer and the military from the rank and file. Dress uniform will still vary. The standards for the operation of military clothing for an officer and a soldier do not differ (one exception is the full dress uniform of an officer).
The set of modern field kit for a soldier and an officer includes the following components:
Gloves and mittens;
Several types of jackets designed for each season;
Hat and beret;
3 types of boots, varying by season;
Balaclava.
Standards for wearing uniforms for military personnel
Similar rules are set out in some detail in departmental legal acts Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Employees use military uniforms of the following types:
dress uniform- during parades and various events with the direct participation of troops; in holidays military unit; in cases of presentation of state awards and orders; in cases of presentation of the military unit of the Battle Banner; when the ship is launched and put into operation, as well as when the Naval banner is raised on the ship; upon enrollment in the guard of honor; when serving as sentries for the protection of the Battle Banner of a military unit. It is allowed to wear a similar form of clothing on non-working days, and during off-duty hours;
field uniform- in the presence of hostilities; during a state of emergency, liquidation of the consequences of accidents, natural disasters, catastrophes, natural and other disasters; at training events, training sessions, combat duty;
everyday- in all other cases.
Characteristics of underwear for military personnel
The uniform assumes 2 separate sets for use in conditions of air temperature up to from - 40 to +15 degrees, and from + 15 and above. In one set, underwear is a T-shirt with short sleeves and boxer briefs. Such underwear is extremely practical, both from the technical side and outward signs. For a soldier, it has all the mandatory qualities, namely:
dries fairly quickly after absorbing moisture;
the degree of air exchange meets the mandatory standards.
For low temperature conditions, there are 2 sets of underwear: lightweight and fleece. Such underwear can be worn directly on the body. It also happens that a fleece set is worn over a lightweight one. This is usually done at lower temperatures. Lightweight underwear differs from the standard summer set with a longer sleeve and full-length underpants. The fleece set from the inside has a fleecy surface, plus, there is also a warming layer.
Sets for various weather conditions
summer field kit consists of a lightweight jacket, trousers, beret and light boots. In the manufacture of such clothing, the so-called mechanical stretch is used, which is initially subject to treatment with a special water-repellent composition. In the parts that are under the greatest load, reinforcing components are superimposed. This gives the suit resistance to mechanical damage, and the degree of wear is minimized.
Military clothing regulations allow for a fleece jacket with thick pile on both sides in cool weather conditions. There is a strong layer of thermal insulation. Plus, if necessary, the jacket can be rolled up to a minimum volume. A windbreaker jacket is used to protect against the winds. It is worn with layer 5 trousers. The windbreaker provides ventilation and the necessary air exchange. 
For colder weather conditions the main set is demi-season. It provides excellent wind protection. The material from which the suit is made has sufficient vapor permeability and dries quickly. Such a suit is worn by employees in the US Army. For special field conditions the military may use a windproof suit. At heavy rain, such a suit for a long time protects against moisture. A similar effect is achieved due to the presence of a special membrane. The seams of the suit are taped for greater reliability.
At severe frosts a warmer suit and a warmer vest are used. These elements are practical and light. They are made from wind and water resistant materials. Plus, in frosty weather, you can use a balaclava that can be worn as a hat, and an insulated hat for very frosty weather. For the manufacture of uniforms for the Russian army, a material is used, which includes cotton and synthetic elements in a ratio of 65/35.

- military personnel who serve in the AFRF;

In the presence of special conditions, in particular, when the military is on the territory of garages, docks, laboratories, warehouses, airfields, in medical institutions, on ships and on the territory of military units, according to the instructions of the commanders, it is possible to use special clothing, work uniform, as well as additional means for personal protection, depending on the specific situation.
As such clothing, elements of military uniforms and shoes that have lost their wearing time, but still fit for future use.
Exceptions are also situations in which military personnel are on the territory of sports grounds or sports halls, or take part in sports competitions. In this case, they are allowed to use sportswear.
Important: The insignia of military personnel can only be placed on a military uniform that meets all of the above requirements.
Features of wearing clothes
The rules for wearing military uniforms determine the procedure for using hats, shoes, accessories and clothing itself.
Wearing hats
The following are put forward for wearing headgear: requirements:
- Hats are used with the presence of a golden cockade.
- headwear from karakul with the presence of a visor are used with a gold-colored cockade.
- Hat with ear flaps in the presence of field conditions is worn with a cockade of a protective shade.
- Hats with earflaps with headphones down are used when the temperature is below -10 degrees. It is allowed to wear hats with “ears” tied at the back during technical work, economic activity or under other similar conditions, as confirmed by the decree of the commander of the military unit.
- Woolen caps worn with a golden cockade.
- Woolen caps worn with a golden cockade and white or blue piping.
- Cotton caps applied with a golden cockade.
Rules for wearing outerwear
Wearing accessories
- Gloves used in the winter for construction. In other situations, the presence of gloves is not charming.
- Belts used over coats, tunics and jackets.
- Colour socks depends on the color of military shoes.
Regardless of the type of military uniform, military clothing must be clean, neat and tidy. It is strictly forbidden to wear shoes, clothing or accessories that are damaged, dirty or worn.
military personnel also cannot combine military uniform with other items of clothing that do not comply with these rules. Soldiers also forbidden use, together with the military uniform, awards, decals or any other elements that are not related to the specified requirements.

Today we will talk about new buttonholes "coils" for military officers.
As reported by a number of publications, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has already developed and plans to introduce in the near future new lavalier emblems that resemble the insignia of the Russian guard of the 19th century. This buttonhole among the officers received an unspoken name - "coil"
This was officially announced on December 22, 2017 during the final expanded collegium of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation under the leadership of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, which was held on the territory of the Military Aviation Strategic Missile Forces.
The new buttonholes will be located at the corners of the collars of the jackets of everyday suits ( office uniform) and everyday shirts and these insignia are introduced exclusively for officers of the RF Armed Forces.

For officers of the Navy (except for senior officers of the Navy) - in the form of golden anchors.
The overall size is 31 by 37 mm. Along the perimeter of the buttonhole, at a distance of 2 mm from the edge, black piping is laid.
Edge width - 1mm. Anchor height - 34 mm. Width - 22 mm.
